I live in Rimouski and went to the Empress museum last week, the story touches me deeply and I just can't realize that such a tragedy happened so close to my home.
Poor lady. Only a few Titanic survivors like Edith Rosenbaum had cried like this lady. She lost both of her parents and it had to be scary on the Empress as it sank.
that skull is pretty messed up. it's one thing to go down a study the boat or try and get a better idea of what happened, but taking a skull is pretty callous. horrific story. even worse when you know the water was 100 feet, which isn't deep enough to collapse air pockets, but is too deep to escape because even if you could hold your breath long enough, the decompression sickness would kill you shortly after surfacing. so you'd be trapped down there till your body finally gave way, but it could have been days.

The last thing her parents said to her was, 'Don't be Afraid.'
And being one of only 4 children out of 138 onboard that survived.

The volume is poor on this video, though provided worthwhile information.
God bless her may her and her family rest in peace. I can see how hurt she is
2:39 Like Harry Potter, she is 'The Girl Who Lived', because she survived the sinking while her parents didn't.
I've never wanted to huge someone so desperately as when I hear this sweet lady 😢
