تستخدم بيان الصادق الكاميرا لتروي قصص عملائها والمجتمع والبلد، إذ تعد سرد القصص مهارة مهمة للمبدع حتى يتمكن من التواصل مع جمهوره وموضوع تركيزه، وبصفتها مصورة وموثّقة، ستشارك بيان تجربتها والمسؤوليات التي تتحملها في مشاركة قصص الآخرين من خلال عملها، إلى جانب كيفية سرد قصتها الإبداعية الخاصة.
وُلدت بيان الصادق في المنطقة الشرقية من المملكة العربية السعودية. واستخدمت الكاميرا لأول مرة في ديسمبر من عام ٢٠١٠ وبدأت معها حياة جديدة كليًا. إذ تبعت بيان شغفها في التصوير الفوتوغرافي بدءًا بالتقاط صورٍ للعائلة والأصدقاء والمعالم السياحية والشوارع أثناء السفر، وأي شيء آخر ألهمها. نشرت هذه الصور على موقعيّ فليكر وفيسبوك، واللذين كانا بمثابة منصات لإطلاق صورها. وبعد أن اكتسبت جاذبية بعد بدئها بممارسة التصوير بشكل تجاري في نوفمبر من عام ٢٠١١، درست الصادق التصوير الفوتوغرافي في مؤسسات مختلفة في مدينة نيويورك لتصقل مهاراتها بشكل أفضل. وفي نيويورك، تعاقدت مع عدد من العملاء البارزين، وبعد عدة سنوات ومئات من العملاء ذهبت إلى باريس، والتي تعدّ هدفًا أكثر جاذبية. وتضمّ بيان في جعبة أعمالها الآن العديد من العملاء مثل فندق فور سيزونز (نيويورك والرياض ودبي) وفندق بلازا أثيني (باريس) وفندق لو موريس (باريس) وباكارات (باريس) وفورتنام آند ميسون (دبي) ولادوري (باريس ودبي) وغيرها الكثير. كما حصلت على جوائز تقديريّة لعملها وظهرت في عدد من المنشورات العالمية. وفي أغسطس من عام ٢٠١٨، أجرت جلسة تصوير لصحيفة وول ستريت جورنال لتوثيق قيادة النساء للسيارات في مدينة القصيم المحافظة تاريخياً في نفس الوقت الذي تم فيه رفع حظر القيادة المستمر منذ عقود. وأصبحت مصورة مساهمة في تلك المجلة منذ ذلك الحين.
Bayan AlSadiq uses the camera to tell the stories of her clients, the community and a country. Storytelling is an important skill for a creative to be able to connect with an audience and a subject. As a photographer and documenter, AlSadiq shares her experience and the responsibilities she carries in sharing stories of others through her work. AlSadiq also shares her experience in how she has told her own creative story.
Bayan AlSadiq was born in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She first picked up a camera in December 2010, and never looked back. AlSadiq began photography as a passion, taking photographs of family and friends, the sights and streets during travels, and anything else that inspired her. She published these photographs on Flickr and Facebook, which served as the launching platforms for Bayan AlSadiq Photography. After getting traction upon going commercial in November 2011, AlSadiq studied photography at various institutions in New York City to further hone her skill. In New York, she was contracted by a number of high-profile clients, and several years and hundreds of clients later she branched out to Paris, a much sought-after target. AlSadiq’s portfolio now boasts clients such as the Four Seasons Hotel (New York, Riyadh and Dubai), Plaza Athenee Hotel (Paris), Le Meurice Hotel (Paris), Baccarat (Paris), Fortnum & Mason (Dubai) and Ladurée (Paris and Dubai), among many more. AlSadiq has received accolades for her work and was featured in a number of international publications. In August 2018, she conducted a photoshoot for the Wall Street Journal to document women driving in the historically conservative city of Qassim at the moment the decades-long driving ban was lifted. AlSadiq has been a contributing photographer for the journal since.
