The war hammer titans hammer isn’t that big, that’s just the shot making it look big. The head of the hammer is actually pretty modest (in comparison to the size of the titans) while the shaft for it is actually incredibly long
Kikuchoyo's sword is also a vibro blade of sorts. It makes chain saw noises and saws though things instead of cutting. Guts would kill millions to get that sword, kill a million more demons with it to get the enchantment like the dragon slayer and then just drops the thing on his enemies just to see the sword cut by itself lol.
The reason the kusarigama-like weapon can be used by throwing the kama is because the weapon is sentient and able to control itself for accuracy and blade alignment
Even if its not Tsubaki herself in there the design is 2 kama on a chain so you can still be throwing one kama while holding on to the other. Even if the blade alignment is off you can still hook with it.
Minor point about Tsubaki's Kusarigama form, its actually got two scythes on it instead of one and a weight, so if your going to throw one end, it kinda has to be a scythe.
My favorite oversized but still realistic sword in Manga belonged to Ichinose Zenmaru. It was larger than an average katana, but shorter than most Nodachi.
……………How on earth do you say “kusarigama” right and then say “kay-ma” and spell it “cama” (like Spanish for “bed”) in the subs? The “gama” in “kusarigama” is derived from “kama,” with the k softened to a g. Each a is still pronounced the same way. Also as you may have guessed, the romaji used a k, not a c. Kama.
Hey Marcus, I'm such a huge fan and I wanna get your thoughts on something So in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, there is a sword called "The Sword of The Creator". It's a sword that also doubles as a whip. By having the wielder flick their wrist, they separate into several segments that are kept together by what looks like a strong fiber line or rope (from how it looks) - as then the wielder can use the sword like a whip. Then by flicking their wrist again, the sword segments come back together to form the complete sword Normally I don't approve of whip swords in fiction with the practicality and because of how it's gotta be more difficult to cut things when flailing it around but 1. the mechanism is interesting and I think it could make it atleast a bit practical since it can be used as a regular sword or as a sword whip, and 2. the blade has several teeth that could make it easier to cut into and strike an enemy when in whip mode. Plus, the sword does seem to have a nicely guard and handle Now, I could be wrong, but I don't think you ever covered this sword before and I think it'd be interesting to see your thoughts
Hey I’ve said this before but could you check out the fire emblem weapon triangle to see if there is any basis in the real world? Lance beats Sword Sword beats Axe Axe beats Lance
That last sword looks like it would not hold. That handle looks like a "skeleton" of the handle and there seems to be very little to no tang at all because the inside of the handle is literally exposed.
We are a long, long way away from that. And it would also bring up the ethical questions of the government putting things into your body just to make you a more efficient employee for them. I see advancements in armor (working towards powered armor) and drones (from scouting drones that feed information, to mobile gun platforms) to be far more likely than the military even attempting to put much in the body.
@@MarcusVance it could come as a way for injured vets to go back to the front after losing limbs. We already had an SF operator lose a leg and return to the front with a prosthetic leg. While the Star Wars films and media with space wizards are technically space fantasy, the rest of the universe beyond them is still a SCIENCE fiction world. Sure, the base technology would be classified as Magitech, but that doesn't negate the level of evolution away from the magic origin that happened in a scientific and understandable way that make sense within the bounds of the reality they live in. Long Descriptions of Parts an Function A short hilt that can be used for doubled grip but is preferably single handed A Broadsaber Emitter allowing for a flatter, hotter blade that can extended out quite a bit from the emitter, hence the name A cross guard angled toward the blade in in alignment with the edge made up of similar emitters albeit smaller that allow for catching the opponent's blade if they try striking for the handle or to catch a slash and redirect it When lightsaber clash they the magnetic fields of the blades stick together and roll along each other. The gap between the edge of the blade and cross guard allow for any lightsaber blades and even some vibroblades and broadsabers to slide along the length and right into the guard, binding them from two points to the guard A field locking system can be conceived of that activates automatically when the magnetic fields connect the blade and the guard in a circuit allowing for the blade to hold the opponent's weapon tight until either combatant deactivates their blade and the circuit is broken A boosted gyroscopic stabilizer on top of the natural gyroscopic nature of a lightsaber allows for even grater precision and fine control of the blade, giving almost fencing levels of minute control over a blade the size of a european short sword A clash boost gyroscopic override allows the gyroscopic stabilizer to draw from the intense energy output of lightsaber clashing and drive the blade, allowing for an insane amount of leverage on the opponent's blade from single hand as the bade is forcing itself onto the opponent's own in both clashes and binds
