Thank you ( !! ) for posting this video! Probably 30 years ago, I met an old, retired guy that was ailing from cancer and didn't expect to be around much longer. He had several of these engines and it seems as though he originally used them to pump water years ago.. many years ago! He started them up for a friend and I, you could tell it made him feel good to demonstrate them and also, I think, it made him feel good that they still operated after all these years. He told us the history and stories behind them but I've long forgotten now. I really did want to get one from him but he passed on and they disappeared as well.
Anyway, I was always fascinated by the memory of his engines but never dreamed I'd ever see one and actually get to see one running again! Thank you!1 I've always thought that the day may come when something like this will be worth it's weight in gold .. simple and efficient .. might be the only sort of thing running some day, the way our world is getting. :^) Thanks again for sharing ..

When I was about 14 I almost lost a toe on my right foot starting a machine like this. The year was 1954.
