You should compare the Big Pilot with Zenith Type 20 Annual Calendar with El Primero movement and chronograph function . Better than Big pilot anytime . Just my thought
What circumference are you wrists? I’m well aware these are large watches to suit their purpose. Unfortunately I don’t think you’re wrists wear them well. Both beautiful pieces though. Great video. Keep it up.
Flawed comparison. Price point comparison should be against the Zenith Type 20 Pilot Annual Calendar with the El Primero movement. This Zenith has a better movement than the IWC and is a better watch in my opinion.
He is comparing a 15K Big Pilot to an 8-9K Zenith. Of course, IWC is going to win this one. It's a more advanced piece than this Elite (not El Primero) based simple type XX. There should have been a more sophisticated Zenith pilot next to the IWC. Or if IWC wanted to compete pound to pound, they should have been represented by one of their 3 hander pilots from the Mark series.
Zenith is using bronze casing and it never ages.....And using baking soda and water and do cleaning, dry it with cloth, buy polish cloth from Amazon and polish...It goes back that day you bought....

I like the look of the watch, but the comfort of the strap is not what I expect. Now bought a 50 pieces limited Zenith Pilot and loving it. Sure, I dont have a power reserve indix now...
The contrast on the IWC Big Pilot is insane. The time just attacks you. I don’t need to see the 7 day reserve though. The Zenith is much more interesting representation. Lots of relishing layers to uncover.
When was IWC ever better than Zenith? 60m water resistance vs 100m = draw? Lol . Should have compared the Pilot Extra Special chronograph with the El Primero movement. IWC a better strap? Zenith titanium buckle and rubber lined strap. Not a very informed comparison.
Except for the lime, IWC all the way. Owning a IWC, I can the lime is actually better than what is shown here, perfectly readable after 6-8 hours on the night stand.
