Your no-nonsense approach of getting right to the point has compelled me to sub. Thank you for your clear and concise videos on a game that I regularly feel I'm drowning in. 😓
Some tips and advices of my experience in this game for both expert - advanced and newbie leaders: 1. Before the update with the farm shed, the range of the barns are very massive, if you put in the middle surrounding with 16x16 titles of fields or 8x8 orchards, the workers can work perfectly without any issues. But remember that all those 16x16 or 8x8 must be in square shape surrounding the barn to be effectively worked, if you put any of that beyond that square the workers hardly working at all. This same effect is the same as the farm shed too so you dont have to concerned about it. 2. By putting much 16x16 or 8x8 it will consumed much of the time for workers to deal with plus a huge amount of fertilizer as well. But if you set some of 16x16 fields to plant veges that produce high amounts of rot, which can be convert to fertilizer than you dont have to worry about it any more, by doing this you dont need longer to build pigsty and buy pigs to produce manure which can be converted fertilizer due to the amount of rot is higher than the manure when season changes. Also by doing this you can save up to 1 building slot limit so that in the future you can use that slot to build others too. Ps: sorry about my english because its not my national language, although i can use english perfectly but some times i make mistake.

Nice video. I'm sure you’re aware that it's not necessary to place tools and other farming requirements in the farm sheds. They can be collected from the main resource storage buildings by your workers.
Thank you, and this is true! I prefer to move tools & equipment into their respective buildings over the resource storage because resource storage is limited and I'm always hitting the 4000 weight limit in my main playthrough. Saves a little space 🙂
@@SirJayWalker The storage limits for the individual chests in the workplaces is so small! I just build more storage buildings until I have enough space to store everything. Once you’ve got market stalls set up it’s easy to manage storage space.
It would be nice if they increased the storage space for individual buildings, so stacking resource storage facilities wouldn't be needed, but I make it work with one. Market Stalls help, but they don't sell as fast as I like, even with multiple stalls selling the same stuff. Honestly, I just produce way more logs/wooden vials than I need 😂
@@SirJayWalkerlol that’s gonna be my problem. I’m a hoarder. I have to play with weight limit off. But I’m still obviously going to have resources in abundance for everyone to use. Btw a detailed video in under 7 minutes when it takes others 20 minutes is amazing. Keep it up!
@gamergeek7482 No shame in playing with unlimited encumbrance 🙂 and thank you! I try my best to get to the point in my videos, while being as informative as possible.
Still missing some information I was hoping to get. How many villagers do you need per field? Or how many plots can one villagers handle? Do I need one shed? Or multiple? How many plots are needed to feed x amount of villagers?
At least 2 villagers can work on 1 field at a time, but they have to be doing separate tasks, so it might be better to have many small/medium fields instead of a few big fields.
I have around 110 plots and 2 farmhands and they finish the fieldwork well before the season ends. I don’t have an exact number on how many plots a villager can finish in a season, but I don’t think you need multiple sheds, since u can have up to 4 farmhands in one shed. When I had 1 farmhand, they weren't finishing the 110 plots in the 3 days they had, so I had to help finish up on the last day. If you want to feed your villagers purely off of farms (or cabbages for this example), I think you need an average of 6.5 plots per villager to feed them throughout the entire year, assuming you plant the cabbages once a year and keep them in food storage. You can get a lot of food out of the hunting lodge & animal farming, so I would stack them both up for extra food throughout the year. With my hunting lodge, eggs from chickens & geese, and my plots, I have more than enough food to feed my village (my village pop is 71 atm) Hope this helps!
