    Great video.
    I’m curious tho, why don’t you guys utilize the prong collar or choke chain?

      My cousin has a stubborn dog and chokes herself , i gave him a prong collar and she still pulls and chokes herself smh but every dog is different, a prong collar on my bully did work for me and she stopped pullin

      @@Princesssur13 I'd say this is 50% of people's experience. The corrective collars are tools and like most tools people misuse them, unfortunately. Ensure the fit is correct and learn the leash pop as/before the dog hits the end of the leash. I've never seen it fail when done correctly.

      @@kjb2218 A correction isn't punishment. Prong collars were made to simulate the same correction a mother gives the pups for acting up! It's simply talking to the dog in their language!

    • @kjb2218
      @kjb2218 2 месяца назад

      @@mostly_incorrect I don't care what they were made to simulate I'm telling you from my 2 + decades experience raising dogs prongs do not work how they were "intended" to word especially if you a very stubborn dog. Plus these dogs are older and waaaaay past the stage of mother's correcting them. Mother's stop correcting their puppies quite early.

    • @mostly_incorrect
      @mostly_incorrect 2 месяца назад

      @@kjb2218 lol at 8 weeks when they leave the yard right? Any trainer worth their salt knows that a tool is a just tool. Just because you haven't seen success with the tool doesn't mean it doesn't work. It usually just means you didn't have the right strategy in place. It's difficult talking to guys like you who fixate on less relevant words. Replace "mother" with the pack leader; adult dogs correct each other all the time during play.... with their teeth at the other dogs' neck!
      I asked about the prong because jerking a dog's neck like this, while effective when the guys do it, might not have the same effect if a smaller human has to do it.
