Halo Infinite SWAT Training (Streets)

A while ago I mentioned that I tend to be trash at the SWAT game mode despite it being one of my favorite multiplayer games to play. I’m trying not to be as hard on myself these days about my skill and have taken to training with bots (shame they took Bot Bootcamp out of Infinite, but at least they’re still a thing in Custom Games). Here’s how I do it:
1. Load up a custom game and set the mode to Slayer and adjust the settings to be as close to SWAT as you can get them (no HUD, shields, sidearm, grenades, etc., infinite ammo).
2. Make sure you have 3 bots on your team and 4 on the other team so it resembles an actual 4v4 game. You can give your team fewer bots if you want to train as if you’re always on a team where your teammates quit, but I chose not to do so this time around.
3. Set the skill level of the bots. You have four levels to choose from: Recruit, Marine, ODST, and Spartan. Recruit being the softest and Spartan being the strongest. I chose ODST level bots for this training session.
4. Choose your map. I picked Streets because it’s one of the most common maps I tend to get when I play SWAT for some reason. Not so much a complaint as it is an observation. I happen to enjoy this map.
5. Have fun with it! Keep training as you go. As I said before, it’s a shame that Bot Bootcamp is gone. But at least with custom games we weren’t completely left out to dry for wanting to better ourselves without having to play against real people.
