@LinBouthillierCTRC as a trauma survivors thank you for acknowledging the trauma and triggering we experience in all this, it goes much deeper than most people understand.
@@sharakay6 Indeed it does. The gaslighting has been horrendous. It began a decade ago. We’re all emotionally exhausted and experiencing fear on a whole new level. I will make more support content as we navigate this journey together. I hope lots of other trauma coaches do as well. ❤️
Ah my goodness this news was well scary for many to see. I am sad too. I truly sympathize in my heart for all the people in USA too my hugs are here for you all.
@@cindypowell8978 Thank you Cindy. We sure appreciate your support. Sad days ahead for so many. I am trying to be hopeful but we can see the plan.🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
@ Hi Cindy. My deepest apologies to you, because I keep referring to you as being in the UK when we comment here in my channel. If you’re in Canada and I have been saying UK, Britain, England…from my heart, I am sorry. But most importantly, I love to find your comments and I am so extremely grateful that you come to visit here. You’re a precious light and you matter more than words can say, my friend.❤️🇺🇸❤️🇨🇦❤️🇬🇧🌍🌏🌏🫶🤝✌️
@ You were extremely gracious to continue watching and commenting so kindly even when I was getting your location quite wrong. My grandmother was from La Prairie, near Montreal, Quebec. I have only been there once at age 5. I have a lovely image of her standing in a cemetery next to the Bouthillier family monument. She and her sister, aunts and grandmother used to run a little bit of lovely Canadian whisky across the border into US under the rumble seat of their car. 😉🥃 They were resourceful ladies.
Lin, thank you for this, I really needed to hear your thoughts...I did watch The Handmaid's Tale, and I am horrified at what could happen...so far we are on the initial path. I didn't realize it, but you are correct, this election loss is a trauma...this man and his followers are capable of all sorts of dark ideas, yet our beloved country voted for him. I wonder how they will feel once he starts implementing his plans? Like you say, maybe love is a recessive gene and some of us care and love more for others and have empathy for our fellow humans. I spend my days now contemplating selling my home, and putting together a contingency plan as my level of accepting any sort of cruelty towards people, animals, etc., is slim to none. Anyway, much appreciate your expertise and sensible and heartfelt message. It helps as we are aligned in our thinking.🧡💚💛
