Vande Guru Parampara. I bow to the eternal guru shisya parampara. No westernized commercial institute can ever come close to the divine order established by My mother land Bharat and veda, parampara,be it any stram of learning.🙏🙏
@@Madhuvanti In part due to the accidents of time and space I have not always choice but opportunity in choosing gurus or (ustads) One of the nicest was Panditji Ravi Shankar, the other kind, wonderful person was Aruna Kalle Narayan. She once told me;"I don't feel I belong to any gharana" and in the same conversation:"You don't want a student to be stuck with you the rest of your life", "Open up your mind!".Time and disappointment have taught me the wisdom of her philosophy.
@@dnyanprakashvarma9536 I see, I think, on the mid point it has sa , komal re and then re. Where as on my sitar it’s sa and then the wide fret for natural re.
Mira Nag ji is a favourite of mine. But Darbari Raag hasn’t favoured her, hasn’t settled in her. We don’t play the Raag, we surrender to it and then the Raag plays us. Any good rendition follows this process though unconsciously. Unfortunately, this rendition of Darbari of this very good musician doesn’t bring out Derbari, which is a very special Raag. I hope in future, the Raag will play her🙏🙏
Why don’t you play a better version then? Before you dare making such negative comments about someone so legendary, better be in a position to do better than them. If you can play better, prove yourself!! Otherwise just bow down in the presence of divinity and her glory.
@Madhuvanti I think this comment disent want to downplay her at all, I think this commenter just saw that this raag fir him didn't sit right... and yes she plays it really dhrupad like, very long stretched, very slow, wich is also fitting the raag well, but if you hear specially sitar, like u.v. khan or pt. Nikhil banerjee, even they play it abit more faster in resolution, I like her version, it just takes alot of time, wich is dhrupad meant to be. But in general it's good practise to question what also the big masters di, not all raags can come to them, some maybe sound dull forever, because this specific raag didn't catch with them, maybe it's also, that's what I think, highly individual to anyone else.
Какие-же умницы!!! И чем старше тем вкуснее!!!
Waiting with a lot of excitement. Each time she plays i get filled with awe!!! I've taken up sitar because she inspired me ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@lestercarl he is a very good man. And so is Mita di. I wouldn’t be anything if it wasn’t for her.

The sitar fret spacings are so different to other sitars
A fret for komal rishabh is fixed as an additional fret.
