Mega Man 9 was the return to 8-Bit for all intents and purposes, the music felt to me like they were re-learning how to do things in 8-Bit, otherwise the game was good to me. Mega Man 10 simply improved because they did indeed re-learn.
I prefer my Mega Man without the megabuster and his slide, actually. He felt way too overpowered in the later NES games and the sound effects drowned out the music. Level design usually shines when it revolves around a character's limitations
Maverick: Shock Hornbill Description: A maverick hunter who went maverick under Sigma's orders. He flies into Earth's orbit where he plans on uploading a virus to the space station's main computer to disable all communications around the world.
Maverick: Shock Hornbill Weapon: Electric bolas, horn tackle Stage: Space station X: Stop where you are, Shock Hornbill! Shock Hornbill: X. I was aware that you are following me. X: Hornbill, you wouldn't want to infect the station's main computer with a virus. You'll destroy all communications systems back on Earth. Shock Hornbill: Orders are orders, X. It's part of the directive. Sigma demands it, and we obey. I am uploading the virus now. X: Then you've really gone maverick! Hornbill, consider yourself terminated!
if you increase the speed to 1.2X you get an appropriate tempo for the tune. however it isn't a MMX1 style. Infact this isn't really an X theme at all. what it is is a M&B / MM7 hybrid, which is really cool, cinsidering the two styles are almost incompatible. yet somehow you merged them with the mm10 theme as a backbone. Very good.
This is absolutely amazing
This song has lived rent free in my head since I heard it
Everyone: good remix
Me looking at the image: *The infamous "W" Tank.*

@@klortikterra4423 yes
@@spardazinblackcoat3544 ha, my memory was right. it's a nice place for it too, cause the final battle is up next.
I didn't expect this to translate very well. You surprise me, as always. Very well done!
Mega Man 9 and 10 are both slept on. Nicely done as always

@@SonicSlicer Having just the P-Shot with Mega Man was the stupidest thing ever.
@@RedHairdo perhaps, but if they gave Megaman the Charge Shot, why would you ever play as Protoman?

I… can't tell if that's my wretched MIDI base or not.
Either way, this definitely adds a kind of creepiness to an already enigmatic theme.

Can you do Blizzard Wolfang? I love that theme, it would be cool to hear it in the Xstyle

Could you do an X1 style remix of Wily Stage 3 from Mega Man 7?
