The movie/novel confirmed that there were 2 Ghidorah skulls that were used for Mecha Godzilla therefore its safe to assume there might be another one fossilized somewhere and if exposed to enough energy ( ie: hallow earth ) it might be able to fully regenerate.
The scariest part abt ghidorah is that he himself can never truly be destroyed, maybe physically but aslong as a piece of him still remains his mind, consciousness and everything else still lives but in a dormant state waiting to be given a new body.
The Monsterverse is really good at making villains. They're all good in their own way. The mutos are terrifying creatures that have a great design and can take other the world with their massive numbers which makes them menacing and a good reason to be feared. The Skullcrawlers in Kong Skull Island were a stuff of nightmares. No explanation needed. King Ghidorah is just outright powerful in every way, arguably more powerful than Godzilla. The fact that he literally came from another planet just to take Godzilla's place as King and conquer the world makes him an amazing villain. Then there's Mechagodzilla. This thing had no chill whatsoever and it was literally Ghidorah's soul just taking revenge on Godzilla and tossing him around like a toy, almost killing him. Although he didn't have as much screen time as the others, he really made up for it. And last but not least, Skar King. He may not be as physically strong as most other large titans but his character worked out pretty well. He had a great introduction and he was an absolute menace, forcing the other apes to be his slaves and having control of one of the most powerful titans in the franchise. I can't wait to see what other villains they'll come up with.

In my opinion, Scar King is still my favorite, his laugh, personality, i love it don't get me wrong i still love monster zero. Until we get more villains scar king is number one for me
