Since you collected the star from Waking tragedy (which cost you a lot), you have improved enough to be able to complete the first segment, my recommendation to collect the star from the red coins in 2 segments is that you combine Waking tragedy with Legacy of sorrow in a total way only for the first segment, and the other segment you already know what you have to do. Maybe with that recommendation there is the possibility of trying to collect the star from the red coins.
It took slightly more time than 4 segments. Interestingly, 8, 6, 4, and 3 segments each took almost the same amount of time (35-40 hours). Thanks for GG!

Yes, the most appropriate 2 segments are as you recommend, I think. As for 2 segments challenge, the segment order might be changed.
