Why monochromatic photon beam gets attenuated in this solution.. I m considering photons as bullets(think it 3) for instance fired at a fixed distance at some material.... Now here is two things.
1).speed (energy) of every 3 bullets is same.
2).material density is also same for the 3.
No doubt the speed decreases. Of course it decreases. But why not exponentially. why 2 bullets get stuck in the material and 3rd one is transmitted i.e, Why some photons with same energy in same dense material absorb and some are transmitted..
Moreover your NMR-spectroscopy was just mind blowing......
