- Is it possible to scan drugs with light and identify what they are? Spectroscopy makes it possible with help of Beer-Lambert law which gives a decent relation between absorbance and concentration of sample. So in this video, we will see how easily we can understand this law and its applications.

Thanks for the video. I found it while searching for an answer to my question. Maybe if you can hint/help: Let's say I place a mirror/reflecting surface after the liquid sample. Now the transmitted light is reflecting back (assume it's reflecting straight). In such a situation how to define the equation of B-L law ?

What is the best concentration and pathlength to measure it?
It depends on so many factors. Normally concentrations are measured in milli to micro molar with pathlength being 1 or 2 cm.
