Brains and beauty: you always scared the hell out of them, Wendy! A memory: late 80's as a teenager I worked in an advertising agency in Wardour Street. One evening walking back to catch the tube after several at the Duke of Wellington, you and Roland fell out of another watering hole and bravely hauled yourselves into a cab. Great days!
@@Jonathon-i2wI've heard it. I bought it the day it was released in 1989 and love it, but, like I said, I prefer Wendy's solo albums, particularly the last three, which are really exceptional and deserve to have mega - sales.
@@peterpinsent9028 I also like some of Wendy's albums, but Velveteen is a classic. Also don't understand why you wouldn't want to 'see TVV again one day !!'
@@Jonathon-i2wI guess it would be nice as a temporary thing, but a TVV reunion would probably mean they would only perform TVV material, and as I personally prefer Wendy's solo stuff, that would be a shame for me. When she performs, she includes a few TVV songs amidst her solo ones and when I last saw her live, her band were great - maybe my favourite concert ever.
Awesome song, just wondering if you can upload it at a higher resolution. also ps I saw TV at Byron Bay and twice at Brisbane, your music made my youth.
Yaaay the Kurt shirt made an appearance x
Love the old clips mixed with the new and what a great track!
Way to go Wendy
"The shape of History" was one of my favorite albums of 2024, well done Wendy!
very cool
