Hello everyone. 👋🏽 I'm fairly new to Wreath Making and I just LOVE ALL THE INFORMATION from you Jenny. You are so helpful and sweet. One of my questions is, where do you get the bushel baskets that you hang on your wall? I have galvanized ones and wanted some of those also. 🤔
They’re linked in the description of all my RUclips videos, but here they are as well. I love them and they last forever! rstyle.me/+Bgnwqi0bwr62h-qrNChp-A
It’s fine if that’s what you want, and you just want this as a hobby and sell some things from time to time to fund your hobby. If you want it to become a business and make money for you, it’s going to be MUCH easier to have some designs that you can make over and over. That will help that listing to rank higher in search and create a snowball affect of sales. Plus if you only do one of a kind, you’ll have to spend a lot of time taking pictures, editing those pictures, and making new listings. That’s a lot of time! Or you can make a handful of designs, a handful of listings, and focus on making those to order. I could not have sustained a six figure Etsy shop if I had to take new pictures/ make new listings/ make new designs for every order.
Hi Jenny I’ve been looking to make a wreath for my home and while cruising through different sites came across yours. It’s perfect, love your talent !! What would your recommendation be for my home that is in grey stone/siding. I would love something with an ocean theme since we live in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Thanks for watching! Well, I love a good mixed greenery wreath, and I think that would really pop against the gray. And then you can just add some some nice ocean themed items and maybe a coordinating bow! Then swap those out when you want to update it for a new season!
Sorry I missed your live, so glad I could watch the replay. Back in the day before I had children I used to be a florist. Now my children are young adults. I’m ready to start a new adventure… My question is on the business side, mainly listing and shipping and what do you do if you run into an unsatisfied customer? Thank you.!!
Hi! Glad you’re able to catch the replay! If I come across an unsatisfied customer, I try to fit the problem so they’re happy again. Sometimes that’s giving them a small refund off their order if it didn’t meet expectations (and then figure out how I can make my listing photos as accurate as possible so there are no more misunderstandings in the future). Always be polite and professional, even if the customer is mean. But also don’t be a doormat. Usually customers are very kind, though. Especially on Etsy.
Hmm… I primarily use just gorilla glue and it holds very well in my experience. Are you using a different kind? I’ve found that the generic cheaper glue doesn’t hold up as well. Also, make sure you have it hot! The hotter, the better the hold once it’s cooled and set.
@@JennysWreathBoutique thank you Jenny, I have used Gorilla in the past, I've been using Surebond lately. Maybe I'm not holding the pick long enough for the hot glue to take hold to the grapevine? I will go back to the Gorilla glue and make sure the glue is very hot before using it. You have always been so sweet and willing to answer any of my questions, I thank you very much. ❤️
Hello, thanks for your help. Do you have to be a RUclipsr to profit with your business? When it comes to doing an LLC, DBA, trademark, etc which do you do first?
I’ve been in Etsy for well over a year and it’s not working at all for me. I clearly need help. I’m into this this for $$$$’s 😢. Going to check into your VIP. You seem so humble and kind. I’m NOT tech savvy in the least so I have stayed away from VIP for much of that reason and there is so so much available here on RUclips for free but it’s clear I’m not getting something. Everyone says my work is very very beautiful so it’s got to be the tech stuff. Thank you
@@JennysWreathBoutique that’s good to know. I’m kinda learning as I go. For now I’m going to have to be learning from what you offer here. Hopefully I’ll start doing better and join you. Thank you for sharing your experience and expertise.
Hi! Have you watched the “start here” video in the success path yet? It gives you a virtual tour of the group and what to expect including when the lives are and the different places I give links. But I’ll send out an email an hour before the live starts, I’ll have a link to the video on the calendar that also has the time and date of the video, and it’s posted at the top of the community.
Hi Jenny, Sorry, I missed your livestream. I have a question about taxes. What do you use to keep track of your income/expenses for taxes? As my business is growing, should I claim taxes separately from me and my husband's joint filing? Thank you!
Hi! I use Quickbooks self employed. It’s really simple and basic but it works for me. As far as filing jointly or not, that really depends on your situation. I would talk with a CPA. Having a CPA has been a huge help for me in my business.
Haha well that depends on what time zone you’re in. I go live in my group on Mondays at 10am mountain time. So that’s 12pm Eastern. But you never need to be at the lives. You can watch the replays anytime. They’re all recorded and saved, and there’s places to leave your questions and things in the group. I hope that helps!
I just did my taxes and realized how much i spent on etsy ads.. not good. I tend to get discouraged when it goes a while without a sale so i then dump money into ads, or i did. yuck!

Those are from Michaels years ago when they had a whole aisle for baskets. I haven’t seen them there in at least a couple years
I signed up for vip..I am so excited to make wreaths. Thanks for your kindness.
That’s great! I’m excited to have you join!
What pliers do you use please

It’s the picture at the top of an Etsy shop.

I have a problem with my hot glue, it occasionally doesn't hold???

Do you ever use a metal wreath with deco mesh?
I use metal rings with burlap from time to time. Not as much as I use to. But not deco mesh. I can’t stand deco mesh lol
Ty for the information
You’re welcome! I hope it was helpful!
You are the best ❤️
🥰
Sorry miss the change for Vip. What kink to license to do ur business. Thanks
Hello, thanks for your help. Do you have to be a RUclipsr to profit with your business? When it comes to doing an LLC, DBA, trademark, etc which do you do first?
You definitely don’t need to be a RUclipsr to profit with your business. I got my success on Etsy before I started RUclips.
Ewe wee!! Thank you!!

I’m so sorry you’re having on Etsy. You do not need to be tech savvy at all. In fact, I’m not either, so I like to keep things very simple.

Do you have a video on ear rings to make
I don’t make earrings 🤷🏻♀️

Hi! I had to leave to pick up a wreath stand I purchased through Etsy, but I’m back for replay.
Welcome back!
When is the next time the VIP Club will be open? Thank you.
I don’t have the exact dates yet, but most likely early fall.
@@JennysWreathBoutique thank you-

Oh no! Well hopefully you can get some more organic traffic for free this year and not waste money on Etsy ads.
Here glue gun might be too hot
