Fun Fact: Uma Thurman originally turned down the role of Mia Wallace. Quentin Tarantino was so desperate to have her as Mia, he ended up reading her the script over the phone, finally convincing her to take on the role
Tarantino just wanted an excuse to film her feet.
@@dantemoose420Guarantee the only reason she did it is because Tarantino got forced to write out the scene in which he drinks a cocktail from her toes😅
Have to say I had no idea someone could mix up SLJ with LF, that is such a disrespect; and not because either of them is better actor than the other, but because they both have such impressive personalities/aura/presence that you just can't mix them up.
I wanted to comment that their aura is probably the exact reason why people mix them up.
I personally mix them up because of this reason, their on screen personalities and the roles they could play seem very similar, they are both masters of their craft, and I have huge respect and admiration for both of them.
John Wayne is probably the biggest actor I know who got his job by accident. He was a janitor or some such and he thought the scene was done so he started sweeping. The director loved it so much John Wayne was offered an acting job.
I'll have to look it up for more details.
Jorge Lazenby got his only gig as 007 because he was in the barber that the producer went to.
Vin Diesel was a bouncer where a director used to go.
@@godoftwinkies574 he was “in the barber”? Forget sleeping with the director, apparently sleep with the director’s barber to get the role.
The Xenomorph was just some dude sat in a bar.
@Barnzy’sBanta I know what you mean by that, but I love the image of an actual Xenomorph sitting at a bar.
Danny Trejo is probably my favourite story like this. Basically shows up looks tough gets hired to play a criminal.
I like it when Danny Trejo auditioned for a movie (I think it was Machete... I can't remember) because the script described the character he later played as a "tough guy that looks like Danny Trejo" lol
I want to get a picture of Toby, Daniel and Elijah but have them all sign under the wrong person. That's my dream autograph that I want.
Frodo Potter, aka Spiderman.

2:44 The movie you're talking about is called "A Time to Kill"
And the "memeable stare" Nisha is trying to recall at 3:02 is from _Black_ _Snake_ _Moan_ 👍
I just thought of how awesome a movie with Sam Jackson, Larry Fishburne, and Avery Brooks could be. They've all played badass characters. The idea of Shaft, Morpheus, and Hawk together in a movie.....damn.
2:46 - The film you were thinking of is A Time To Kill. Have good day!
You just know those guys are going to die when Jules downs every last drop of that Sprite. Not gonna need that refreshing beverage anymore.
Factual quibble: "the Bible isn't that badass"
The "they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them" is genuinely in Ezekiel 25:17. Most of Jules's recitation is actually from the Bible, it's just cobbled together from several different passages.
I rmemebr when there wasn’t ads on your videos. Really happy to see how far you’ve come small Woody
I sat here thinkin' "I didn't know Jaime Pressly remarried".
Then I Google her and Jaime King and realize that Jaime Pressly apparently has *TWO* clones of her running around.
That pic IS Jaime Pressly thogh, Carl misspoke.
@@PikkaBird Nah, Jaime King, Jaime Pressly and Margot Robbie all look eerily similar.
The woman with Tim Roth in that scene is Amanda Plummer, and yes she IS the daughter of Christopher Plummer, quite the lineage no? I'm constantly amazed that people don't know her work better, she's an amazing actress.
There's something terrifying about someone eating your food before shooting. That's evil
Can’t just slaughter on an empty stomach
@@raymondfisheriii791 I argue that you can slaughter on an empty tummy, as one would be hangry. This was far more insulting
@@carlosvejar3938 while the hangry rage could help, you don’t want to risk getting cramps mid murder spree
To be clear though, that was one of the most menacing power moves I’ve ever heard of. Y’all are right on that
There's a good chance I'm wrong but I think the picture of Jaime King is actually a picture of Jaime Pressly funny enough given the context.
Being a guy at uni with a Pulp Fiction poster on my wall, I feel called the fuck out.
Kind of makes me wonder what Laurence Fishburns reaction was to the two of them getting mixed up.
Nah, i'm pretty sure it only happens to Jackson.
I do wonder if that producer on pulp fiction might not have paid any attention to the casting and just vaguely remembered fishburn was the initial actor for jules, I would be surprised that they knew who fishburn and jackson were from their movies.
Classic kissing up.
Little known fact is that the L in Samuel L Jackson stands for Lawrence Fishburne
Fishburne would've probably walked off set after the "Dead N-Word Storage" rant, after knocking the fuck out of QT.
Hands down Sam Jackson is my favorite actor.
@@FructoseFrank is this a classroom?
yeah I loved him in Matrix
You could have added Christina Ricci and Jenna-Louise Coleman as lookalikes
Another eerily similar pair is Amy Adams and Eisla Fisher (both names which might be spelled wrong here)
Not surprised in the slightest. I don’t know what you call that vocal inflection he uses during “royAL wit cheese” and “mhmm that is, a tasty burger”
But Tarantino probably what I asked him just based on how well he played the character even if he wasn’t a huge celebrity
Late to the comment party here but I thought that Jeremy Renner was Jason Bateman for years. Was super confused why the Arrested Development dude was in a Marvel movie.
Not sure of the validity of this but a friend of mine whos a huge Samuel L Jackson fan says on the lightsaber prop he had from his run on Star Wars not only has the word motherfucker engraved into the hilt, and that (according to my friend) he still has it on display
I can kinda see the Jaime King and Margot Robbie comparison, but Jaime King and Jamie Pressly (My Name is Earl) look so much alike I constantly get their roles mixed up.
That pic IS Jaime Pressly though.
Not only do Laurence Fishburne and Samuel L Jackson not look anything alike, they don't even have similar personas.
They don't sound familiar either.
i love when SLJ appeared on Extras and near the end the girl also confuses him for Fishbourne!
2:54 “a time to kill” great movie
This is your best video to date, and that says a lot. I was finished throughout this unraveling
"You're as crazy on the people on Twitter" is the truest statement I've heard on the whole internet.
Jessica Chastain, Bryce Dallas Howard, and a new comer Katherine Fogler
Jaime Pressly and Margot Robbie are like the melted Koochi Kopi and Koochi Kopi from Bob's burgers
You forgot that Denis Leary and Willem Dafoe look very similar.
I have a joke with my friends that I fall asleep every time we watch Pulp Fiction. Granted we always watch it at 4am after drinking but it happens nonetheless.
Lmao. Love yall. Thanks for the laugh on my break..
Sam being constantly mistaken really feels like racism, like how can that happen daily with a big name celeb...
51st state with McElroy is the best of roles
I love Pulp Fiction and thought I knew most if not all of the trivia around it. Thank you for the information.
Danny John-Jules is said to have had a similarly fortuitous experience when auditioning for The Cat in Red Dwarf. The story goes that he turned up very late for the audition but completely unaware that he was late. As a result, he came across as being arrogant and not giving a shit about the time of others that had been wasted waiting for him... exactly as The Cat would behave in that situation.
The drummer from red hot chili peppers chad smith and will farrel are basically the same person

The quote is “ Yes, they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell.” From the movie A Time To Kill.

Karl: Harvey Weinstein's name is fucking everywhere.
Yep. So was Harvey Weinstein
dont forget that Benicio del Toro and Antonia Banderas get the same look alike treatment
WTF?! That's possibly even worse than the the SLJ/LF 'confusion', they look NOTHING alike?!
Without Sam's standard sunglasses and if he's wearing a hat I could sort of see the confusion when they were both younger but now not so much
Hooray! Extra stuff at the end. And I love Samuel L Jackson
Rhona Mitra and Kate Beckinsale look very similar
I can't tell Jason Isaacs and Jon Hamm apart.
I mean I would have been embarrassed. But telling someone that is interviewing him that he isn’t Lawrence Fishburn seems to be a correct and respectable response.
I wouldn't want to see someone 7ft tall angry either, glad Karl doesn't get mad often.
Is Karl becoming buffed?
thinking about getting a pulp fiction poster now
I did Pulp Fiction for my film studies A-Level alongside Shaun of the Dead.
A time to kill is the movie you can't name. You should watch True Romance the whole movie is cameos.
Jackson and Fishburne have similar noses and mouth shapes, it's not a far stretch tbh

I loved Sam Jackson in The Matrix 😂 …… jk, my actual fav film with him is the underrated 51st State
Funny enough, i always get Brad Pitt and Matt Damon mixed up with each other and they look nothing alike as well
Same, they don’t not look alike but for the longest time if I saw either of them in a movie I would forget which one was brad Pitt and Matt Damon
who's harvy?? why do we hate him
Samuel L. Jackson reminds me more of Morgan Freeman.
I guess I kinda see the similarities in the eye shape... But that's it.
So it's not that Sam L Jackson and Lawrence Fishburne look alike that causes people the mistake people to mistake Samuel L Jackson as Lawrence Fishburne. I'm pretty sure that it's that Samuel L Jackson looks similar to Morpheus and since Lawrence Fishburne iplayed Morpheus and is so commonly associated with that role it causes some people to mistake Samuel L Jackson as Lawrence Fishburne. Also I feel like some people know they Samuel L Jackson isn't Lawrence Fishburne, but they call him that just because they find it funny.
It's 100% not that. The Matrix was released in 1999, Pulp Fiction was 1994. LF was also a very well known and established actor at that time in the 90s and SLJ wasn't quite at the same level. It's mostly just down to people's laziness at not paying enough attention
@@MrBazzdoc fair enough, tho it's possible that for some younger people that if they make that mistake it's because they associate LF very strongly with his role of Morpheus and Samuel L Jackson is just SLJ, but also nowadays I guess has a somewhat strong association with his role of Nick Fury in the MCU.
SLJ really does look a lot like Morpheus. Just imagine SLJ with no facial hair and the Morpheus glasses and maybe the coat too and you could see how I reached my original conclusion that you've debunked and maybe I partially undebunked it with a little bit of revising like I mentioned above in the first paragraph.
@@korsaiyajinkami3766 no you've not undebunked it but you have invented a new word. SLJ looks nothing like Morpheus, even in his own younger days when he had no facial hair and was still bald. Mistaking them for each another is one thing but attempting to justify it with lame reasoning is just not on. It's like saying Jackie Chan looks like Jet Li or Ryan Reynolds looks like Ben Affleck
@@MrBazzdoc okay and what-if as the inventor of the new word, I were to say it's definition is as follows:
Undebunked:to take something that has been debunked and revise it to where the new version works as is and therefore in a sense, what was debunked has been reversed though not really.
Ya know what seeing as that is what I meant when I said undebunked, I am declaring that yes, I undebunked it because that is what I meant that new word to mean. Therefore I'm sorry, but I have to say that you're wrong and that unironically I am honestly really sorry about that. 😅
@@korsaiyajinkami3766 😂😂😂 can't argue against that logic. Well played sir
The Bible isn't that badass? I don't have any idea what that's even supposed to mean. But it's surely stupid.
All of Tarantino's movies are excellent
Sure, but Pulp Fiction is by far the best
Pulp Fiction has the best soundtrack
Does anyone remember Black Snake Moan
