Oh yea for real! I just didn't see Lee Seung-gi as a top singer, but hey - he proved himself to me here. His acting is superb, I knew that already :D -- IU & Lee Seung-gi are similar in a lot of ways actually

Lee SunHee is a REALLY respect korean singer, she is like a legend in Korea. She is a tiny old lady but with the biggest vocal range you can imagine 😍 (she is just 56 tbh 😅). Also, she was the one who discovered Lee SeungGi on 2002 (when he was about 14-15) and train him herself for 2 years. She is his mentor. That’s why IU bring her to the conversation so easily, he was the one who give her IU’s number, and everyone on Korea knows his relationship with LSG.

seunggi is a holder of many hit songs in kpop, Krul, like Noona is My Lover ( ruclips.net/video/zL08L96wxyE/видео.html ) or Will You Marry Me ( ruclips.net/video/S76TIvZZjlM/видео.html ), or Return. Basically he is the same kind of singer like IU or ONEW Shinee, who put the emotions 150% when sing.
Personally, I am fans to his dramas and variety shows too, when his spirit and enthusiastic nature really shine ...
LSG is the best..I just love his voice. Its soothing and powerful. 😍😍.. LSG and IU should do a song together. There voices really go well together.

They did act together. Lee Seung-gi had a couple cameos in IU's 2015 series 'The Producers'. He played the world's nicest guy while IU played a witch
Good to know, I never watched The Producers. But cameos aren't really acting together, they probably never saw each other on set haha. Would be cool to see them act in main roles together for some action drama

You really dont know lee seungi. He is considered to be a triple threat entertainer. Excels in all three fields. He is known as the ballad prince. Prince of variety shows and also his dramas always have high ratings. He is also considered to be the most humblest of actors. He started as a singer but now excels in everything. Pure genius. He also has most of the big awards in the three fields.
yessss, he is a complete entertainer. In Kpop industry, maybe just Rain, BoA, Seunggi, and yeah IU herself who have this kind of diversity, each with their plus and minus and time to shine. Like ofc IU can still grow in her hosting skill.
and in the younger generation, maybe sung jae BToB and sejeong ioi-gugudan (interestingly, they both grow in the mold of Seunggi and IU )
Yeah, I never knew about his singing career. That just happens, I am only into Kpop since 2016 and it takes time to explore and actually understand all niches and styles of music and artists within those! But thanks for your comment and telling me more about him :)
@@cru3ltmo It's cool that you are exploring all the fields, he is not that in to kpop he is a ballad singer. Thats y he is less known internationally. But his prestige in korea is huge. Has a national title like iu known as nations son in law.

They “know” each other since IU debuted. Although, (probably) they exchanged contact only in 2018 when the concert in the army happened. As they told.
SeungGi is also an MC (since he’s 21) so he interview her a few time. Years before, she invited him to sing on her concerts and he also invited her. IU revealed he even gift her a fancy bracelet as a thank you for that (that was in 2011). The fields they work are very alike (singer-turned-actor) so they have met at some award ceremonies and normally chat (according to fancam). His cameo on The Produce have a really cute interaction with her character.
They probably doesn’t know each other as good friends but I think they’re obviously good colleagues. And had so many interaction by the years. That’s is why the fans had pray for years for a colab (as a song or a drama) ❤️🤞🏼🥺
