I did everything based on this tutorial, but for some reason when i open the DNG file those 3 layers do not pop up, it just shows 1 layer, what should i do?
what are you opening in this minute, I don't understand, I opened as you said before, then you closed without saving and opened three pictures. 4:34 . How did you do that?
I know it's late but maybe it helps. He just had another document with all the versions already premade for the video. This was just to compare you can just continue editing the picture he closed without saving. Cheers
Pretty cool video. Learned some new tricks. AND! had an idea which you might consider creating a video for, to test whether this idea could work or not. What's the idea? Glad you asked. For people with OLD film or slide images wanting to convert them to digital using a DSLR, my thinking is this "super res" feature could enhance the converted images. Possibly even make them sharper than scanning at high resolutions (1200 dpi+ - which incidentally takes a very long time), or simply saving directly from the camera. By shooting in RAW, exporting, saving, then using this feature, those average converted images could be better. Just a thought. . This idea just came to me as I watching the video. Could be a future project, yes? Maybe help a few folks out with their image converting. Then again, it might not help at all. . ~Alexa Shaw, Just A Simple Photographer
On any of my JPG. it just says after I click Enhance Detail that it does not support JPG. Probably bcs it support raw file only but I cant seem to figure out how you can import such a generic jpg. and get the enhance to work
You can edit JPGS. In Photoshop you use FILE>OPEN then where it says FORMAT change it to CAMERA RAW. Then find your JPG and it will open in Camera Raw.
My photoshop doesn't have HEIC, My photoshop is 2021 version, does anyone know why that setting isn't there. I can't even open that file format in Photoshop
It should be in the same place even on a windows computer, the only thing that should change should be the keyboard shortcuts. Make sure you are using a RAW photo to get the best out of this effect
I would have to agree with you, although Photoshop is amazing it definitely has its downsides. I would actually say that some free super resolution software can actually outperform Photoshop in many aspects, when it comes to increasing resolution and clarity
Nup, no enhance button
I don't have "Enhance" button
Same
Pretty cool. The result is similar to adding a High Pass filter on top of layer to sharpen the image
The best!! Well done man!
Great stuff! Thanks so much! Subbed!
Love your take on the photoshop features!
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Man I love your work. You are the best. Can you do a video on frequency separation? I would really appreciate it.

It just says that enhance function doesnt work with jpeg files(
"An I'm going to start right now" proceeds to run his intro animation and more yada yada yada.

Photoshop Super Resolution is visibly inferior to free website services, so no it is not worth using.

Please which website services can you pointbme to
I'm having trouble with my camera raw. Creative cloud says its on version 13.2 but when I open a raw image it says 13.1...am I missing something here?
