If I may be boring, I think they changed Henry’s last name for the same reason they decided to turn the queen into a king. I think the original name was too similar to the current royal family and they didn’t want to get in trouble for it.

I love this movie!!! I have watched it 4 times in 1 day and I cannot stop. The book and the movie are great. The chemistry between Nick and Taylor is off the charts!!! I laughed, I cried. Everytime I watch it I see more details and nuances that I missed. The love making scene was perfection!!! Never seen anything like that before. ❤

From what I've heard, Amazon required them to keep the movie to two hours or less. I can't imagine doing this as a series was ever an option. Despite the great success of the book, the movie could have been a boring disaster, which I'm sure colored Amazon's decision as to total budget. So for each thing you wish they included from the movie would have to be compensated by cutting something else out.
Im pro movie vs series for this one personally, i think the act structure makes more sense in a movie format as opposed to a series. with that being said im perfectly fine w how the movie turned out
