- In this Arbi ki Sabzi recipe I have shown process to make Sarso wali Arbi ki Sabzi. I have cooked this Taro Root (arbi) in mustard, cooking it in mustard make this Arbi ki Sabzi very delicious. This Arbi ki Sabzi recipe is very easy to follow. Taro Root in Mustard Gravy is one of the non traditional way of cooking this arbi curry.
मसाला अरबी बनाने की विधि
Preparation time-30 minutes
Serving-4
Ingredients:
Arbi(colocasia root is/ taro root)-250 gm (peeled, washed and chopped )
Garlic cloves(peeled)-10
Green chilli-1
Tomato(chopped)-1(large)
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Coriander leaves(chopped and washed)-1/3 cup
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Coriander seeds-1/2 tsp
Black pepper(whole)-1/3 tsp
Mustard seeds-1 tbsp
Salt to taste or 1 tsp
Lemon juice-1 tsp
Cooking oil-4 tbsp

u really are a versatile cook. i follow all ur recipes n the special thing is that u r not confined only to one regional variety but present different cuisines spread accross our lovely country. i highly appreciate that about u. n to top it ur very pleasant n calm while explaining.
p.s. this arbi preparation with mustard base is a very famous curry from odisha. we generally call it 'Besara' tarkari....a dish with mustard n tumeric as base. if we leave the tumeric out the same is called 'rai' tarkari. just a piece of info. do check odia cuisine.... its very vast and kaleidoscopic. m sure u ll love it.

mam mujhe arbi bahut pasand hai aaj aapki arbi dekhkar mujhe meri bachpan ki baat yaad aa gayi jab mein barah saal ki thi to mujhe meri ma ne kaha gas par arbi rakh dena aur meine adrak rakh diya mujhe adrak aur arbi mein pata hi nahi chala us time hamare ghar par kaam chal raha tha kaam karne walo ko lunch karna tha din mein meri mummy kitchen mein gayi ki aaj arbi bane mein itni der kaise lag gayi jab meri mummy ne bartan mein adrak tha to mummy ne mujhe bahut daanta jo kaam karne aaye the mummy ne unko adrak ki chutni banakar khi la di. kaam karne valo ne kaha beti ne bahut acha kiya arbi ke bahane humme adrak ki chutney to mili. uske baad meine dheere dheere kaam karna sikha par itna nahi mam shaadi ke baad thoda thoda khana banana sikh gayi thi acha banati par itna acha nahi banati thi meine pahili bar aapko youtube par dekha tha us time se aap mujhe bahut achi lagi mein kabhi net nahi chalati thi mam par aapki aadat padgayi kyoki mujhe aapse acha khana banana sikhna hai sorry mam meine itna lamba commet kar diya par mujhe laga ki mujhe aapse apne dil ki baat share karni chahiye to meine kar di
