Hi mate, Would be difficult to make a video but I’ll tell you this, don’t buy ‘one size fits all’ type ones, they’re crap and really dangerous for ladders. Buy a Thule one designed for your vehicle, when it arrives there will be instructions inside, it’s a bit fiddly but it’s not hard to work out. Once you’ve sorted that, buy some Rhino ladder clamps, or you can buy more basic Werner screw down ones if you’re in a budget. This is what secures the ladder to the rack safely and securely so it won’t fall off. Don’t use anything else at all, rope, etc that I see some people using is plain dangerous imo.
It’s because it’s generally a quarterly, 6 monthly or annual service in a lot of states mate - so it’s a bit like us down here on the PVC cleans, conservatories for gutters etc. I’d imagine it’s a lot harder to get regular work for that reason too.
It’s crazy mate, but like I say they do it annually usually so it’s similar to us doing gutters over here, much harder to build a solid round too I’d imagine.
Great advices thank you🙏 all best for you
No problem at all - Be sure to check out my new video scheduled for Sunday :D
Fantastic advice, thank you very much mate!
Glad to help mate 🙌

No problem at all 😁
How much do you earn?
And how much did you earn in first year, 2nd 3rd year ect?
Thanks
Hi mate,
Would you like me to make a video on earnings per hour and so on?
This is something I was thinking of doing anyway so let me know 👍
@@JamieFitzWindowCleanerwould be really helpful mate I know a private subject but it’s always good for us young lads to be inspired !!
How old do you think you need to be to start a window cleaning business?
Old enough to drive, age means nothing to be honest so long as you can get about and do the job well it’s nobody’s business how old you are 👍
Hey mate could you make a video going through the process of fitting roof bars to a regular car and securing the ladder?

@@JamieFitzWindowCleaner thanks mate. Unfortunately I bought the one size fits all. They are quite loose when fitted. I'll be listing them for sale
@don3182 Yeah I made the same mistake pal, not worth the risk hefty penalties for unsecured loads. A Thule one will do job wonderfully though mate 👍
That's crazy that in America they charge 150 to 300 to clean windows, while in the UK it's 15 to 70

Theres plenty of customers that only want a yearly service in the UK...youll soon find that out😂
Yeah and they ain’t worth bothering with 😂😂
A dairy £3 a year
As for people that want a clean. Charge an initial clean cost saves the time wasters
You what mate?
Why are you not dressed 😕
🤷♂️
This made me chuckle
This was helpful but im jealous of how americans are charging like 5-10 $ per pane
