I’ve always imagined su daji as somewhat like fan bingbing, beautiful but with a strong deathly aura. also I feel like it would be more appropriate to cast a southeast asian for altan since speerlies are based on native Taiwanese ppl who are austronesians like most ethnic groups originally in SEA. it was hinted that rin was jiang and hanelai’s child so it wouldn’t be much of a problem to cast a dark skinned and ethnically fully han chinese actress. but otherwise I agree with ur other fan casting
