- Watch this guy try to get the load back on his truck. He has an unsecured, illegal load on his flat bed trailer which is falling off.
But he doesnt stop. Never thinks to secure the load. Nope, he keeps on driving.
Watch him try all kinds of things to try and get the load back on the truck.
First though he passes a backhoe, which could have easily pushed the load on straight. Lets not take the easy route. Then he tries rubbing against a bridge support, lamp post and a stone wall.
The whole time he is driving on narrow streets in the city with the load falling off his truck.
Crazy stuff here.
Hope you all enjoy it.
He's not stupid at all. He knows exactly what he's doing.
Would have called the police right away. He makes it dangerous for anyone who gets near him. Even so dangerous that it could be deadly. This driver should loose his driverslicense right away.
Am I the only one who thought this video was disappointing?
they do this everywhere in india . ..
Stupid? I think not, that's some skilled handling there.
Exactly
That is not a truck driver that's a wrecker. No real truck driver would do this
Should have asked the loader operator to push it back on!
Exactly what everyone EXCEPT the truck driver was thinking! The longer this went on, the harder I laughed. At least he scraped some of the graffiti off that wall.
Having a safety cone behind the truck body makes it all better.
This guy is a pro for keeping that thing on the deck. He could drive for SWIFT!
You are absolutely right. There is no doubt about it. I was being a little tongue in cheek. This is just crazy to watch. It looks like international videos I have seen. I mean between the alleyway, the apartments close to the wall, the parked cars, and the street repair it looks strange. Then you throw in the truck, I mean it's just amazing to me. Good luck to you and the ones you care about.
I lived just off Jamaica Ave in Cypress Hills, right next to the J train for a year. Paid $1200/ mo, was followed by gang members each night on the way home. Couldnt watch TV or listen to radio cause the train went by every 3 minutes and turned everything to static.
Beautiful place.
ahhhhhh hahahahahah!!! the adsense ad is for CDL training!!! thats just Too Funny!!!
What a disgraceful human being to put behind heavy machinery!
i want my frikkin 3 minutes fifty-three seconds back, it didnt even fall off, that was about as interesting as the first ten seconds of air that comes out right before i dump
Haha, my first video. I was doing videos for years for other people. I made this one stupid because it is just that.
Why not give the Cat driver a small donation to push the scrap van thing back on?
I am a tow truck driver and have been almost a decade. Watching videos like this piss me off so bad cause people that are that stupid need to take a beating. Please don't call this person a tow truck driver because he is NOT.. He is just a person improperly using a tow truck.
lol, hey he got it on there !
Now that just made me really laugh out loud.
I just cant believe how bold he was doing this in the open.
Tow truck driver...not a truck driver. Big difference.
Wow that was dangerous! That could easily have fallen off and killed a pedestrian. I don't like to go snitching on a guy if he makes a mistake, but that's negligence, I hope you showed the DOT.
I forgot about the bullet proof shops. You cannot go in. Just stand outside and order through the little slit in the bullet proof glass.
But the best little restaurant I ever knew was right around the corner from me on Fulton. Sold fish dinner for $3.50 and it was two meals worth.
Thanks, I am hoping it goes viral. Crazy stuff.
Shoulda just tooted the horn at the joystick jockey in that Cat, I'm sure he would've been glad to knock it back on there for him. That chubby businessman on the street couldn't have picked a more terrible place to walk.
The chubby guy is with the truck. You'll notice he's the same one that's attempting to push the load back onto the flat bed later when they make it to the wall.
Ok, great. Thank you, I will look into it.
That's one seriously irresponsible driver! :O
Irresponsible driver?! dude, he's from NY. It's the norm over there, he'd actually be considered a hero.
Rigon Sierra
I agree, crappy driving is the NORM over there. An example: when I was staying at the local Hilton, I was walking out of the lobby and a taxi driver made a REALLY poor attempt at getting into the parking lot. He rear-ended a limo (at 4 mph!!), realized what he had done, backed up and peeled out of the parking lot! Hilarious!!
"I'll put a traffic cone on the back to make it safe and legal"
A friend of mine lives out there and gave me the video for youtube. I pieced it together. I used to live out that way too. Familiar area.
Thanks
Thank you
Call 911, there's an escaped lunatic driving around in a truck.....
I cracked up watching this! 😂😂😂
Yeah, thats a fact. They spend more time making criminals out of normal citizens when they cannot even properly chase down people who violate real laws. You sort of hit a nerve there. I am angry with their new laws recently.
Thank you. You too.
Now ya got me thinking of going over there just for a "Crave case" or two!
I thought the same thing, most construction guys are really cool to help.
Hold my beer, I got this.
Thought the backhoe was going to help him out....
As it turns out. He is one one of the best drivers in the city.
I love how he put a pylon on his truck too!
"Git"...my new favorite 'word'....
Thank you.
truck driver could slide that load over with a harness ratchet...easy!
He's got a safety cone so he's good to go.
And this is why a good driver makes sure his load is secure, and he's got a come-along/winch just in case it moves... *facepalm*
I'm a forklift driver at work. Sometimes I wonder how funny it would be to pick up a pallet full of product with my lift but without wrapping it with shrink wrap and just going full speed throughout the warehouse and everybody just seeing all that shit fall apart and having a laugh. Just a crazy thought. I wouldn't really do that unless I want to be at the unemployment office!!!
That is not a truck driver, it doesnt matter what or how many ways you slice it, that is not a truck driver. Thats a Tow truck driver, the licenses needed arent even the same.
If I had a dime for every time I was called a stupid truck driver ,I would have,,,,,, oh I don't know, that would require adding and I'm just a stupid truck driver. LOL!
All Thumbs Up Every Time ! #587
What the hell it's New York City.
Not me! I will head for the hills before things get too bad.
I lived on Jamacia avenue as well. Worst place I've lived in my life. I was afraid to go outside even in the daytime. Cab drivers wouldn't take me there. Some kids tried to mug me in broad daylight. Had to buy my cigs through a bulletproof window at the bodega. I was glad as hell to move back to Manhattan..even if it was Brooklyn Heights.
Just remember if that thing hits anyone vehicle or a Bicyclist and if they get hurt they bicyclist has the right to file a law suit and take action.
I don't drive trucks at all but even I know you need to secure your load.
I wouldn't call that driver stupid, because he did show some skills inching his way true those tight spots, plus he was very creative in order to solve his problem. The only problem i see is safety, he should have stopped imediately and ask for support to secure that cargo, not drive around and risk an incident..but ho knows what reasons he had to take on those risks. What actually surprised me in this video was that CAT "earth moving thingie" driver, he could have helped and fix the problem in like 30 seconds..and yet, he just kept watching like an idiot, probably hopping something would go wrong so they could all have a good laugh.
no...I would go with stupid and lazy and if I was the guy in the CAT, I also wouldn't of gotten involved with anyone so stupid ,
Good question, lol. Heck, why didnt he tie it down in the first place?
Thats why its a "stupid truck driver" video. I dont know why he didnt ask the backhoe to help. Cant believe he was not caught by the cops with that load.
So you know that White Castle is still standing there on Miller Ave. I miss those tiny poison burgers.
Of course he could have got the 'Earthmover' to nudge it back on. I dont think the owner of that load is going to be 2 impressed.
Havent been out that way in about 5 years. But oh, those little things are good arent they. Actually I havent had a whitecastle burger since I lived in the City.
This video will get him charged for sure. Can't wait to hear about the follow up story on the news.
I am not sure about that. I have a friend who drives trucks and he is a LOT more respectable. I have respect for truck drivers. I remember riding with my Dad before I have any other memories. But this guy should not have a license.
Actually I have seen people speeding on the highway, passing cops. Not sure why, but it happens every day.
wow so glad you captured this. It's hard to believe how dumb some people are until you see it for yourself. I'm sure they dumped that load on the road somewhere, no tie downs and only a orange cone to warn other trailer riding loads to 'be careful'. That construction site would of helped them I'm sure with the tractor, but they really needed chains to hold it in place.
Thats a tow truck driver... you dont need a commercial license to be a tow truck driver and that means you dont get the same training
all these people around, and no one is smart enough to call the police to report him,
What a waste it didn't even fall off...
This orange pylon (with reflective tape, I might add) is my license to disregard all traffic and safety rules.
Yeah thats for sure.
Yes, it was real. I dont think anyone would risk such a thing for fun. A friend of mine was there recording the whole thing and gave me the raw footage.
Good ole American ingenuity
higher education is over rated, some one has to drive the trucks.
I cheered for the truck driver when he got the load pushed back on straight.
Guess he didn't have any load straps. He, and the walking public, should be glad that thing didn't fall off and kill someone.
I would have loved it if the load had got hitched up to something sticking out of the wall lol
lol @ the bike on the guy hes like "wtf?!"
I been in Buffalo before, to Niagara falls, one of the most amazing places I've been.
You took the words rite out of my mouth 123MrBurg
LMAO.....great captions! Hmmm...I'm just curious who the idiot was that first loaded that thing...
The tractor operator would be accepting risk for something that wasn't his problem. If something went wrong later the tractor operator would be the one being sued and losing his job.
Never saw it that way. It is funny. Can only happen in NY.
Man they already hidin in the hills waitin on u to get there!
The backhoe operator could have nudged it into place in 30 seconds. None too swift...
I hope you sent this video to the owner of the company he drives for. This would be his LAST load if he were my employee.
Wonders can be done by attaching chains just right and utilizing the winch to align awkward loads like that. Just knowing how to use a roll back is the key.
I doubt it. This is NY, and a lot of crazy stuff goes on.
Recipient refuses it - NOPE, it's all scratched up now
01:55 am I the only one expecting the chubby guy to get squashed like a bug?
I live in Jersey, and I agree. ( born in Philly)
For one thing this is a roll back tow truck driver, not a tractor trailer driver.
thats some boss driving
Wish we could have had the graunching sounds of metal against stone.
Thank You for the correct way to call,So is it called a flat bed tow truck. So do you have a CDL?
This is NY. That is nothing. You should see some of the things that even the cops dont bother with.
All he needed to do was snatch block it to the rail at the end of the bed with the winch and pull it back on straight again.
Looks to me like he asked the man with the hydraulics to square it up and the man with the hydraulics said he wasn't insured for that.
You need £5,000,000 insurance cover to cut down a tree these days.
Couldn't that tractor just pushed it in a little? lol
Maybe they asked the loader operator when they were stopped next to him, and maybe the operator said no.
Why didn't he ask the guy with the front loader to push it back?
hahahahaah best video mate
Inexperience, I give the guy an A for effort though. At least he tried vs. just giving up or doing nothing and hurting someone!
