Pit of Consciousness live Kiev same show is badass as well
Most definitely a must watch.
I'll try to check it out!
@@KarmaHoudini17 You wont be disappointed.
I Speak Astronomy, would be a good choice. Crazy time signature changes.
Welcome to the Jinjer army. You'll love the trip.
Thank you! Welcome to my channel 😁
MORE JINJER!!!!
More Jinjer will definitely happen
Jinjer = variety , variety in music ,variety in vocals ,variety in lyrics , variety in appearance (especially Tatiana-vocalist ).Keep on with Jinjer if you like variety. Of course we know some good songs and live performances from them. For example "Pit of consciousness " official music video or live version from the same performance in Kiev ,both equally good.
She learned that women can growl from Otep, but her main inspiration for her extreme vocals was indeed Randy Blythe from Lamb of God. :)
Usually people start with the live session for Pisces, since it is a good cherry popper, especially for people who aren't aware of the vocal technique. Jinjer songs generally have a lot of variety, both within as well as between their songs. I'll drop my usual Jinjer recommendations (minus this one) if you want to dive in deeper.
Official video suggestions:
Teacher, Teacher
I Speak Astronomy
Pit Of Consciousness
Cloud Factory
Retrospection
No Hoard Of Value (official lyric video)
Home Back
Sit Stay Roll Over
Live suggestions:
Perennial live at Wacken
Who Is Gonna Be The One live
Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev
Judgement & Punishment live in Melbourne
Thanks for the suggestions!
YES! When you first said her growl sounds familiar, I immediately said (out loud) Randy Blythe. Then at the end you mentioned Jens from Meshuggah too. I agree. They have a cover of a LOG song somewhere on RUclips.
Yeah, she really immediately reminded me of Randy, and others here have mentioned he was a direct influence on her
What a refreshing reaction channel.. NOT some attraction ho who wants likes but a sincere musician with musical knowledge.. Who actually LISTENS and explains. What a breath of fresh air... I subscribed
Thanks mate... Hope u "dig" more this band, "Perennial" live in Wacken 2019, and "cloud factory" live very cool also
Thanks for the recommendations!
@@KarmaHoudini17 keep the good job
Right into the deep end lol
😅
Randy Blythe was Tati's biggest influence when she was learning to growl. After she joined Jinjer they did a cover of Laid To Rest hat is well worth checking out even if you don't react to it since there are only bootlegs of it - best sound is the one uploaded by NosSam in 2012 with the title all in Russian except the name Jinjer. Pit of Consciousness from the same Kiev show goes lower as do Who Is Gonna Be The One official live, Sit Stay Roll Over official, and Home Back official (the latter being their newest video, about their hometown in Ukraine being caught up in the war there). Subbed. Cheers!
So I guess I hit the nail on the head with the Lamb of God reference? That's cool to find out! I'm keen to check out more Jinjer, so thanks for your recommendations 😀
Their latest video is called "Home Back".
That ain't her lowest growl. Try Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev.
Or the end of Home Back.
Great insights, I always enjoy hearing what other musicians have to say about music. There really isn’t a bad Jinjer song that I’ve found so far. Try “Home Back”, “Ape”, “Noah”, “Retrospection-Live in Kiev”, “Judgement and Punishment (both official and Tatiana One Take Vocal)”, “Sit, Stay, Roll Over”, and “Captain Clock-Resurrectionfest “.. I think you’ll appreciate and enjoy them.
Jinjer is one of my favorite bands! Tatians is so great at writing lyrics and is a great singer!
Subbed for sure bc Is be shocked if you didn’t become a huge fan of This band considering what you talked about. Their music has a complexity and diversity to it while maintaining a heavy groove that I love. Really looking forward to more Jinjer reactions!!
Thanks for subbing! Welcome to the channel 😀
“Progressive nü metal” - ok, that kind of nails it! I don’t think it’s as simple as that, but it’s a fair description on first impression.
Just a "few" to choose from....
JINJER - Cloud Factory (Official Live Video) ruclips.net/video/Sg8tiRyXujQ/видео.html
JINJER - Words Of Wisdom (Official Video) ruclips.net/video/B48xIcvgzYM/видео.html
JINJER - Ape (Official Video) ruclips.net/video/FC3djB7-nc0/видео.html
JINJER - Sit Stay Roll Over (Official Music Video) ruclips.net/video/a98LI-arNS4/видео.html
Welcome to the jinjer rabbit hole. Check out spirit box if you like these guys
Pisces and perennial live
There’s another song from this same concert called pit of consciousness very good
Thanks for the recommendations! Lots of requests for Pit of Consciousness, so will probably do that one.
Also, Spiritbox is pretty cool! First listened to them last month or so
Captain Clock from Resurrection Fest 2019 if you want a low growl from Tatiana.
If you really want to hear the vocalist (Tatiana) sound like Randy from Lamb of God, listen to some of their stuff from their 1st or 2nd albums, Inhale Don't Brath and Cloud Factory respectively.
Great commentary my man. Enjoyed it.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video
Tatiana is one of the best metal singers there is. Period. (But she definitely sounds similar to Randy B from Lamb of God)
You want really count beats? Try it with Jinjer`s "Pisces", "Home Back" or "I Speak Astronomy"! Might have a harder time.... ;-)
If you like to dig in to that, prepare to get surprised again and again.
You think of a pattern? They change it. You think you know them? Wait for the next song!
"Who's gonna be the one" live. "Outlander" live. Both great songs and live versions.
Awesome, thanks for the recommendations 😀
3guitars next tour live
Been a fan of them for about 10 years, these guys are tighter then a cats @ss and great musicians. They do not have musical boundaries and I suggest you dive into them and just pick any other video with them.
Randy Blyth from LoG is one of her biggest influences as you heard in her growling.
Good reaction for the first video with Jinjer.
Tighter than a cat's ass 🤣😂

You got to agree at least after watching their live shows.
These guys are so underrated that's why I truly enjoy when a musician like you acknowledge them.
I've seen reactions with "musicians" that kind of bash them because it's not their style of music. Well any true musician will enjoy other good musicians for their skill.
I for example is a true metal head but I really enjoy listening to Prince for example because he is or sadly was a fantastic musician, I can mention so many others but I think you get my point.
Keep it up brother and if you want to hear some other cool bands that are pretty unknown just let me know and I will introduce you to cool musicians and bands ;)
Awesome! I think it's a good thing to have a wide range of music tastes. I love rock and metal, but I also listen to jazz fusion and some other stuff. It's important to keep an open mind. Also, many of the bands that I love now, had to grow on me. If I hadn't given those artists more than one chance, then I'd never have gotten into so many groups I love
@@KarmaHoudini17
True that, I mean look at progressive metal for example, where would that be without jazz or fusion for example?
I think that as an musician that makes you grow and it also stimulate your way of thinking but that is why I also chose to listen to music with skilled musicians no matter what genre.
It doesn't mean I listen to them on a daily basis but more like when I'm in "that" mood.
I think that it's important if you want to develop yourself as an musician to do that at least if you play some kind of music that is based on skill.
I started out with classical music playing classic guitar, I did also when I got older play electric guitar but was all focused on classical guitar. I injured my right thumb when I was 19 yrs old and that ended the classical playing for me and I focused on electrical guitar since I could play with a pick instead of finger picking.
Well, you did understand my point and that is cool, you seem like a guy with a good head so it will be interesting to follow your reactions and vids in the future!
pick any song..there are no bad tracks.....they are incredible
😁
Ah you didn't start with the usual Pisces so you don't get tricked by the clean vocals intro before the punch in the face, but you should still check it out!
Lol. I'll add it to the list!
