the original studio version is 203 bpm or so. Something near that, this version in 1986 toronto. 250bpm, that is just. Incredible. All downstrokes (you strum the guitar pick only downwards, not up and down), 8th notes, that would be 8,3 downstrokes PER SECOND. Just, wow. No wonder James Hetfield is called the king of downstrokes.

Miyako the black haired guitarist is a Dean Guitars featured artist. One thing she does with her guitars is replace the stock pickups for Fishman's Which I am sure you are familiar with.

Both guitarists use 7 string guitars to get a slightly bassier sound.
