No organization shoots itself in the ass as wildly and in the fashion NASCAR does. Best short track Gen 7 race and Blaney's masterful drive are the last thing anyone's ever going to remember
Yes, they have got to go back to the real man point system, it was perfect, the real champions won championships, none of this constant restart crap at the end of every race, the gwc's permit some to cause wrecks just to get another chance.
@@user-Dr.Anything that intentionally alters the outcome of a race is wrong. Period. The 1 and 3 stalled out everyone behind them. That's clear manipulation
Agree! The audio between the crewchiefs, spotters and the drivers is just a part of it. What you din't get to hear is what the manufacturers were telling the teams during the week or all throughout the so called playoffs. It's a known and accepted fact that the manufacturers's teams work together at Daytona and Talladega so it shouldn't surprise anyone that they would do it during the last cutoff race. Unless NASCAR drops the hammer (Yeah, Right!) the Phoenix race will be the same way, maybe worse.
The new NASCAR fans especially the SVG fans have been telling me that they don’t like the fact that Blaney used his bumper on SVG and then went on to win. I told them it’s perfectly normal in short track racing to use the bumper and it really doesn’t even cause damage to either car. This is still NASCAR I remind them not F-1 or Indy car
Its a damn shame that there was a great race and a great race by Blaney and it is all overshadowed by all the shenanigans by Chevrolet and to a lesser extent Bell, who may or may not have used the wall to get a higher place in the race.
Their should only be three drivers going for the Championship in 2024! Reddick, Blaney, and Logano should be the only drivers eligible for the Championship. Their was obvious racing manipulation going on, and every driver and team should be penalized severely!
Hi BB , that was a the best short track race for the Gen 7. To be all screwed up at the end. It’s a shame that it has come to this. I wish they would change the point system. Get rid of the caution flag at the end of the stage. And do away with the WIN and you’re in. Just get an extra 15 or 20 points for the win. But getting back to the race. I feel that Goodyear brought a good tire for the race. I think that helped for a good race. You had to manage your tires, if you ran to hard you wear them out. Also when you pitted you needed to get 4. Thanks for sharing. Have a good week. 😎😎 👍
I thought the 3&1 car were obviously blocking without radio com. I can’t add anything bc your input was perfect. Entertainment or racing? What do we get week to week? I love good racing which is entertaining. Don’t need nascars point system diluting it. Aaaagghh I could rant….blood pressure
Best Martinsville race I have seen in years. Great tire. Looking forward to seeing this compound at other tracks. Great racing, multiple grooves. Great clutch finish by Ryan. Awesome race. And then ruined by the dumpster fire finish. I jumped up and stood in disbelief as I watched the 1 & 3. The 1 damn near had to stop on the track a couple of times. As it happens I had the 23 radio on my scanner and heard the traffic as Bubba backed up to the 20. The only option for NASCAR is huge (I mean the biggest ever) financial penalties for the teams involved. As well, indefinite suspensions for the 1, 3 & 23 drivers, crew chiefs and anyone else on their respective team radios talking about the 20 & 24 situation. And for reference I say that as a big Trackhouse fan. But wrong is wrong. This is race manipulation. Worse than "Spin-gate". I understand the OEMs are behind this but a line in the sand must be drawn by NASCAR. Anything other than the nuclear option will allow this to continue. As well all credibility will be lost. This is NASCAR. Not F1, where team orders dictate race outcomes. Nor is it WWE. But Sunday sure looked like it. I agree BB, the current playoff system must go. It won't because NASCAR wants the drama. But the cut-offs breed what we saw at Martinsville. And more importantly how do you crown a season champion with one race? It's stupid. Pisses me off. I'm a big Blaney fan from the 21 days (he made my Wood brothers valid again). That clutch win Sunday should be the story. That, and a badass race..
Say thanks for reading my comment last night, I agree with you it was bad what I saw last night, I mean there have been many NASCAR races in fact this year alone that have made me real mad, But Martinsville was worse than even Spingate was in 2013, I hope this doesn't make too many people want to stop watching all together but do question a lot of us were pretty unhappy with what we saw those last few laps.
My opinion….. 1st addressing Martinsville:; leave the driver standing alone ( f’ that up sunday we won’t try to fix it.). Team Toyota if bubba had issues like it sounds like….no problems Freddie on DBC said if we needed to give Bell a point we would do it with the loose tire caution. team Chevy :: send the 1 & 3 to last car on lead lap. For owner standing…
If the 20 was "forced/pushed" into the wall on lap 10, would he have rode the wall or slowed down to avoid more damage? I would like the think he wouldn't ride the wall on lap 10 which means he was clearly in the wrong. As for the 24, SMT data will definitively tell you if the 1 and 3 were slowing down....if so, give them the penalty. I'm tired of seeing cars going around the track at 3/4 speed....I thought that was only a superspeedway thing but now here we are. NASCAR has some work to do this offseason.
I am not mad at anyone! Hell, this is nothing new. Same as Manufacturers not pushing or pushing teammates in a super speedway. This is the format we live in and some teams work the system.
Since NASCAR has basically become F1 with fenders..... Let's have the owners vote in race stewards who will serve for a season. The requirements would be they are either a former driver or crew chief. Thier decisions on infractions would be final and impartial. They can pass judgement during the race just like F1 or after the race. This would remove NASCAR management from the picture and hopefully make it less controversial. Just a thought.
As long the tv network paid NASCAR those big $$$ we going have a playoff that just the fact and the shenanigans that went on sunday just bring more eyeball to tv. Burger how was the buzz at the track after the race?.
C'mon, Bologna. Of...., course Willie B was in on it. He was in the bird seat and was the individual who would benefit from the 3 and 1 blocking all others. Also, looking back in history, Hendricks has benefited from so call controversial rulings. Member Gordon was the Fifth man in a Four man championship.
From now on any driver that is in the gas trying to save a wrecking car on the wall should be penalized. What a Fing joke this all has become. Comparing what Bell did to the Hail Melon is idiotic. But it gave Nascar a way to wriggle out of all the controversy. I may not watch next week as I am disgusted by what I watched yesterday.
Just repeating the majority vote here but getting rid of this ridiculous current system would perhaps crown the driver with the most wins and top tens a championship. (Apologies for the run on sentence)
Great race ....for the most part...nascar should clap itself on the back for the fiasco they call playoff racing...just alienating more old school fans...get it right please for gawds sake
Remember back in the 80's teams would come up another car, run 2 laps and then park it just so their championship driver wouldnt come in last. Not say that what they did was ok......just saying its not new. I think the bigger issue would be, who made the call to do what they did? This is above the crewchiefs and probably the owners. I think its the higher-ups at Toyota and Chevrolet. Thats the real concern!
Penalties don't mean anything after the fact. C. Bell is the one who was penalized and cost him his whole season for one miscue, not fair ... waaah! I'm not a Bell fan by the way, neutral on him.
October 10, 2022. Cole Custer & Stewart Haas Racing were penalized 50 driver points, 50 owner points & $100,000 for manipulating the outcome of a race. Obviously, that is not enough to discourage this. The #1, #3 & #23 team should get at least double that. They made a total joke of Nascar racing. Disgusting!
Ford won all 3 championships last year have a chance again this year Ty M / Cole C/ Ryan B/joey L noticed no Toyota in championship 4 in XFINTY go ford mustang what do think about ford chances at the championships
I can't believe all the stuff that's going on with the Cup Series. Everyone knows all these top teams are made up of very honest, law abiding, church going, good, and respectable people. I don't feel anyone cheated or did anything wrong 😮
Now on to part 2:; tell everyone the 2025 charter agreement is void. there will be a meeting after Nov 22 ( awards ceremony ). Y’all 🤬🤬🤬 can’t play like reasonable grown adults…. yall 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬want to push us into ruling aggressively over dumb stuff…. Nobody’s gonna be happy cause ruling and race calls will change… There’s 2 teams of officials… Team A handles drivers points and live in the moment racing activities there will be a lot more small points penalty but more driver based. Team B handles owners points:; there will more aggressive penalties more geared to ‘ things out of the driver control’ team orders manufacturers orders., cheating the race car., …. d@mn kids we try to setup opportunities for people to race fast car you 🤬🤬🤬🤬 keep making us make rules over cheating… and govern y’all millionaires …… Now sign here X or leave……. and if you try to trash us on social media we’ll fine $ heavily. At least NASCAR is getting exactly what they wanted, said we asked for it, they lie, this format is the most childish stupid thing they could ever do, many of us told them the moment they rolled it out, it would cause chaos, it would cause non champions to win championships, they did not listen, is Biden/Harris running NASCAR now?
No organization shoots itself in the ass as wildly and in the fashion NASCAR does. Best short track Gen 7 race and Blaney's masterful drive are the last thing anyone's ever going to remember
Amen. Well put.
I'll remember because Blaney is my guy
Just one thing Bubba did not have a flat tire just saying there was a lot of bs going on.
Yeah I said he didn’t when I mentioned the spotter saying the tires were up
THE PLAYOFFS HAVE GOT TO GO!
NO IFS, ANDS OR BUTS ABOUT IT!
👏💯
Yes, they have got to go back to the real man point system, it was perfect, the real champions won championships, none of this constant restart crap at the end of every race, the gwc's permit some to cause wrecks just to get another chance.
NASCAR continues to embarrass itself
For sure
Ricky Craven is calling for the 1, 3, and 23 to all be suspended. I can't say i disagree. If it's all proven.
@@user-Dr.Anything that intentionally alters the outcome of a race is wrong. Period. The 1 and 3 stalled out everyone behind them. That's clear manipulation
And Bubba has been caught in lie about the flat tire as well

I agree. Why stop if they can’t penalize you for it.
@@joeyager8479 God forbid a Hendrick car doesn't make the final 4!
You are making some very valid points!🤔
I agree with you 100%…
Thanks John
AMEN, the system is flawed
Right on Nathan exactly where I’m at with the sport.
Yeah it’s fair game here. I think they’re just pulling for their driver like any other fan.
Its a damn shame that there was a great race and a great race by Blaney and it is all overshadowed by all the shenanigans by Chevrolet and to a lesser extent Bell, who may or may not have used the wall to get a higher place in the race.
I’m with you. Blaney overshadowed because this system is so flawed
You left out looser bubba. bubba
Oh yeah, and Toyota and Bubba
Their should only be three drivers going for the Championship in 2024!

Yep exactly where I’m at with it. It’s frustrating
Go back to Winston Cup points--something that was written on a napkin in a restaurant deserves to be saved. Bag the playoffs. Problem solved.
👏👏👏
GREAT description, I totally agree 👍
Thanks Wendell
Willie Wonka 😂
😂
And the chocolate factory…..
that was a sad finish last night
Agreed. Ruined a great race
What if NASCAR can punish the manufacturer in there points battle
That may deter it but I doubt it. As long as one race determines a winner the teams will do what they have to do in their minds to get there.
Manufacturers will just move their investments elsewhere.
Congrats to Blaney!
Good video BB your audio is super low!
A little worried for William still. They haven't talked about the Champ 4 at all.
Nascar has just guaranteed that more empty seats are coming next year....apparently they don't care....they got their money don't need it all anymore
Congratulations to Ryan Blaney.

NASCAR can’t go with the next man up theory because with Larson in then HMS and Chevy still win same thing for JGR and Toyota if they put Hamlin in
