I was only telling my partner the other day that Charlotte Tilbury is the one brand that i could do a full face of makeup with, she has a winner in every category for me. Nars never lets me down for foundation and concealer. Natasha denona her eyeshadow is always amazing, my eyeshadow collection is mostly her palettes. PML her eyeshadow palettes blow my mind i have 2 of her motherships. And i think Huda Beauty really stepped up in 2021, i tried alot of her products and they were really good, her setting powder is brilliant and them creamy lipsticks beautiful. This was a great video Charlotte. And for me Benifit never let me down when it comes to brows 😁
As I’m hear putting on Pat McGrath eyeshadows for date night. I totally agree that pats shadows are amazing. If you want guaranteed compliments, wear pats shadows. Never fails. People are always mesmerized by them 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Charlotte Tilbury (as a brand) has really come into their own in the past 2 years - pretty much ever since Copper Charge/Green Lights etc. I'd love to see them do a palette reminiscent of Viseart - Coy and be a bit more daring with color. It's also shocking that they don't have any permanent powder highlighters!
The brands that never let me down in any category when I was younger were Dior, Nars, Chanel, Tom Ford, and Charlotte Tilbury. Right now I think Chanel and Nars are still in that category. I have decluttered almost all my Charlotte Tilbury other than lipstick and am holding on to my old Tom Ford quads for dear life. My Dior are close to their end as well. I’m now into Victoria Beckham. She can do no wrong for me (I love her pants, too. I’m on a mission to grab more when they’re on sale)
I feel the same about the smell! I think it smells like peach too!! 🤣🤣. Totally agree, delicious and nicest on the market! YSL is definitely my favs!! 🥰😘
Sharing your love for Lisa Eldridge ♥️ I may have even set timers for her new releases … also never without some MAC blush. Sadly struggling with any lip products currently as they’re so dry that I don’t dare putting anything other than hydrating & occlusive on top 😔. Thank you for this video, very much enjoyed it.
I’m so glad you made this video because it’s something I think about often! Totally with you regarding NARS. And the thing with them is that even in the products that they aren’t great at they are still pretty great (I’m thinking about eyeshadows specifically). It’s rare to find a brand that does almost everything right.
I haven't tried TF foundation stick but I do have a stick one in my handbag. You can guarantee I'll blow my nose as soon as I've beautifully applied my foundation and gone out the door. The stick comes into its own for those quick patch up jobs imo. Enjoyed video as usual, on your channel 😘
Ol’ Patty has been a little sue happy lately which has put me off currently. I do love Nars, Natasha Denona for eye shadow, also a lot of indie brands including JD Glow for out of this world shine and shimmer, MAC for their lipsticks and blushes. I need to try that Tom Ford foundation stick when I finish one of my foundation compacts.
So far, vieve, Natasha denona, nabla, huda, and kaleidos are my favorites for eyeshadow. Charlotte tilbury and nars for lips. Stellar and Natasha denona for foundation. I don’t really have a favorite for cheeks yet, as I haven’t found anything with longevity.
To me Bobbi Brown used to be the brand to go to for lips, but I’ve changed to Lisa Eldridge. I love matte lips and her formula is amazing. Plus the shades that are flattering on me regardless of color/undertone. Natasha Denona for eyes. Absolutely lovely shadows and something in each palette I own that I feel like must be exclusively for me. 🤩
Such a interesting video. I agreed with everything you said you were right on. I would add Christian Dior for foundation concealer primer face products.
Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Dior, Laura Mercier never let me down. Estée Lauder foundation (I have dry skin) is my holy grail. Love Natasha Denona eye palettes, and VB eyeliners. Thanks Charlotte for another great and entertaining video x
I ordered NARS light reflecting foundation on the shade Patagonia, looking for a neutral shade. I was surprised to see how golden it leans but the shade does work for my skin. This is my first foundation from the brand and I love it.
It cosmetics CC cream for me for best foundation. Tarte Shape Tape for concealer. Tarte for best eyeliners and shadows, closely followed by Natasha Denona. It Cosmetics superhero and Iconic Triple Threat for mascara
Melissa55 did a video on the glam palette... Its on my wish list but having second thoughts due to her detailed video - not sure if it's because Melissa is more 'mature' like myself, various looks with primer etc... I was surprised and wondered if you had similar issue and wasn't a major factor? the shades faded. Melissa used another brand on other eye so we could see the comparison 🤔
Great video. I just saw @Emily Noel do a similar video a few days ago with some of the same brands. That’s how you know that the brands are good at what they do. 🥰
Totally with you on Fenty. The slip shines are insane and the liquid lips are the best. Shiseido do the best undertones imo, really need to try the radiant lifting asap
I'm 100% with you on Charlotte Tilbury. If I'm going away, my travel bag is going to be CT, because I won't be let down, and we also know that it's going to be a no fuss, quick and easy look if we want it, that still looks a million dollars, and natural at the same time! No other brand can do that....
Thank you for one more great video Charlotte!!!!👏👏👏💖💖💖💖 My one and only brand that does everything perfectly is......🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆 Charlotte Tilbury (of course)!! I think if i just put the packaging on my face it will look great!!!!😂😂😂😂 My second choice is Lisa Eldirge, she is one of a kind and definitely a wonderful brand!!!
I have all top brands and feel for lipstick chanel is right up there.pat and natasha for eyeshadow. Tomford for foundation. Chanel and nars for blush.fenty and Armani for gloss.huda has some good pallete and her cream lipstick formula is quite good.i like a lot of ct products and enjoy her packaging. Tom ford eye quads give a sophisticated finish which I enjoy.i want to try Lisa eldridge now
Such an amazing video concert, really enjoyed it😍now I only use lip products, don't use any other makeup items, so I can only mention brands that I always rely on with regards to lip products, and those are, yes, YSL, I agree with you, their lip products are fantastic and well worth the price, I always look forward to their lip product releases. Other than YSL, I also love Dior, Givenchy and Clarins for their lip products. Again, I think those are underrated for their lip products as well, but I as someone very picky with lips, I can always rely on them for sure.
I have different brands for different items, Chanel for lip products, blush till recently, highlighters. Dior highlighters and some 💄. I love Natasha Denona, Charlotte Tilbury and PML all the above are so good I know I won’t be disappointed. Great video Charlotte 💕
I agree with you about ABH brow products, the Dipbrow brow gel product is still my favorite to use for a quick brow tame. Natasha Denona is my most used eye palettes, and one of the brands I get excited about when a new release comes out.
I completely agree with ND for eyeshadows. I have never been disappointed in a ND palette I have picked up! I also really like Fenty's base products (I know I'm in the minority there). Benefit is my go-to for eyebrows. Overall, I also agree, Charlotte Tilbury. Her eyeshadows are beautiful and so are her glowy face products, her lips are my favorite too.
Charlotte Tilbury is my desert island brand. I can use something in every single category. Lipstick formulas is my favorite. If Lisa Eldridge had something in every category it would probably jump into my desert island brand. Such a great brand and I can't wait to see what else Lisa brings out.
This is such a great video idea! Really enjoyed the content. If we’re allowed to disagree I think Lisa Eldridges lipsticks are incredibly drying like a matte liquid lipstick. I have several colors and regret the money thrown away. They break in the bullet too easily. My favorite product from her is the liquid highlight and I am a huge powder lover. Lol. Thanks for the video!
Fantastic video. I feel like Victoria Beckham is a lot like Lisa Eldridge in that it’s not enough for a full face yet but every single thing she puts out is mind-blowing glorious!
Such good brands!! Still thankful for finding out about Lisa Eldridge through you just over a year ago! And YSL lipsticks, I don't get how they are so underrated (post 2015 - cause they were all the rage then) I had one in high school, 8 years ago and I recently repurchased it.. Buuut DAAAMN it won’t be cheap. At the moment, I can5 decide if I want a Sisley mono or Shiseido… ugh Sure, I could order a Mothership, but would I even finish it before it went off❓
For me, it’s Pat McGrath, Chanel, Dior, Patrick Ta and Natasha Denona. I wish I could add Charlotte Tilbury because I do love so many of her products, but her eyeshadows always irritate my eyes and some of her face products pull too warm for my pale skin.
If I had to pick one brand to be loyal to for life it would be Charlotte Tilbury in a heartbeat. I love my PMG and Natasha Denona eyeshadows when I want something exciting but Charlotte's formula is my favourite.
I don’t think I’ve ever had the cream first on a scone? The jam sits on the base easily and then you pile the cream up high on top. It doesn’t seem to make sense the other way? Is that really a thing? Ok need to go look that up. 🙃
Ok I understand the clotted cream is more like butter so it makes sense to do cream then jam. Here in Oz the cream is loose and light and it would be hard to put jam on top of cream.
Reliable for eyeshadow definitely natasha denona. All of are amazing not a single dud but most of all, like you said, colorstory is beyond. Actually the main reason I'm not big on PML bc non of her colorstory really speaks to me..
"I'm trying to think of a palette that I've been disappointed in from Natasha Denona [...] I can't really." Tell me you didn't buy the Tropic palette without telling me you didn't buy the Tropic palette 🤭 100% correct about cream on first though, greetings from Exeter 😅😘

Hi Charlotte, we know you love these brands as you seem to be reviewing them a lot however, would you consider trying different ones, just to bring more fun? Especially because these brands seem to be bringing to the market very similar products every year. Love your channel and congrats on your achievements x
I do review/feature far more than just these brands but I am fairly limited to what is widely available here, how soon it comes to the UK market and how popular the brand is on my channel x
I loved this video I think Chanel has a good liquid lip I have always loved Nars Lancome foundations I am testing the kho Ken doh and Sheseido and it's a tough match up. Both are simply sublime. This was really a neat idea and of course I could listen to you go on forever. Love from Texas
