This makes me sad but you guys did the right thing. My parents have us 6 girls and 1 boy but my dad love all of us equally, even after we are married. My dad is the most loving father and my mom support us regardless of our decisions. Continue to love your mom because the love that each of you give her extend her life with you guys.
What a wonderful story! I’m so proud of you os tus me ntxhais aw! Txiv neej Hmoob ces yeej saib tsis taus cov ntxhais los cov poj niam. So sad, but I’m glad all you siblings are doing well and have a happy life!!! May God continues to bless you and your family!
Yog kawg
Proud of you girl. You're an intelligent individual. Glad you use negative words as a positive guide to achieve your goal.
Sis, I'm married to vietnamese we have 3 boys and he said his life isn't complete if he does not have a daughter so we finally have a daughter and yes she changed his whole life our life. She's a blessing to our family I wished I had more daughters. Daughters are amazing
This made me cry. Everything that father said, ive heard from my own too. To this day, he still the same. Nothing we can do but wait for that stupid generation to pass.
Agree. Can’t change them.
Hmoob cov OG yog cov ntshaw ua nom ntshaw ntsej muag tab sis lawv txoj kev coj is so prejudice and backwards. They only know kev yuav niam yau xwb. I can't wait for them to be all gone.
This is the same as my family too. Except my father hais tsis taus ua tsis taus, so everyone walked all over us and he blames us for being ruam and yoog neej tsa. But our life goes the same as this story and our father will never truly love us.

Great for you and your siblings more power for you
So proud of you, don't let your father's ignorance and heartless soul drag your family down. These days, the majority of our girls are the breadwinners, strong and independent. Your father seems to be those typical Hmong men just pure evil with every excuse to have another wife. He doesn't deserve to be loved by you and your siblings. Your story is sad but yet, it's an eye opening to those Hmong men who are evil and selfish.
May it makes me sad how our hmong culture treats women. How we are down graded so much just because we are women. To the lady in the story. So glad all your lives turned out good. Your Dad got what he deserved from the family he is so proud to be a part of. Live your lives with no regrets. Best wishes to all.
Nnm that too rRw35`¢•too t
Don't complain but you can fight for your rights.
There is no dignity in being a woman in the Hmong culture and religion both.
thank you for sharing your family story rau peb kawm. it is unbelievable that a father can be that ridiculous. it's so sad. but it is not you or your mom's fault. so proud of your success and how you focus on loving your mom back. your story inspired me. hope that you all can learn to forgive your father. that may mean love him and take care of him when he's old or his young wife run away with another yonger man. that will be the best closure of your successful life. Forgiveness is the answer. may God bless you all.

Yog kawg o 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I am proud of you girls, these days our Hmong girls doing better than boys. We should stand up to change our barberian culture. I am Hmong man but I feel that our Hmong men are very abusive in almost everything. It is good that we are in a country that has good laws. We should start to enforce the laws to change the culture so our next generation won't suffer no more.
As long as good Hmong men like you exist out there, and you guys teach your sons better, the future will be brighter for the Hmong women within the Hmong community. If not, then I fear the Hmong men are going to lose a lot of smart, good Hmong women to other cultures out there. For example, how many smart and highly educated Hmong women have married non-Hmong men because so many Hmong men turned these women away due to their age and intelligence? I hope to live long enough to see the tangible changes concerning this issue within the Hmong community, at least here in the U.S. anyway.
Bless your beautiful family and your mother's beautiful soul.

What a great story! Proud of you and your siblings.
Great story. Thank you for sharing your story! May the older generation of parents learn to love their daughters more.
Yes, i agree with the lady of this story.... 100 percent...good thing the old people are dying out and the next generations are changing to the american way...
Tham tau tu siab tshaj nplaws li o tu siab kawg li o
So proud of you all doing very well👍🏆🏅
Proud of you and your siblings!!! How dare your Father still have the face to ask you & your siblings for help with his Brats? How embarrassing!
You are so inspiring..God blessed you

Koj hais Zaj no zoo mloog heev li os Niam Laus May aw
Amen sister! You and your siblings are the perfect example of the quote, "What doesn't kill you make you stronger". Some Hmong OGs complain that other races are racist but they don't realize they are the biggest bigots of all, even toward their own flesh and blood!
Tough love doesn’t mean abandoning one’s children. This father is a selfish man, gave up his children for a younger wife.
khav theeb xwb yog koj txiv tuaj teb mas thiaj ntseeg!
Best thing I did for my family was moving out. Environment was so toxic and controlled. Respect never rolled down hill. Compliments rarely used unless you were just as dominant a figure of authority.
Love this story. You and your siblings have such powerful love for one another.
my husband loves my daughter a little more than the sons I think because she’s the baby and the only girl in the family.
I have 4 daughter I love all my daughter ❤️ with all my heart.
Wow!!! Tu siab ua luaj li os cov menyuam aw yeej yog yus muaj txiv yug los tsis muaj txiv hlub li os cov menyuam.
It’s the og who think like that, we new generation has evolve and adapt to the new way and learn how to appreciate women more. Yes it’s sad that their mind set is like that.
Good story. Thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful inspiring and sad story. So proud of your success. Thank you for your words of wisdom. Your family must be so proud of you!
Women are the gate keepers of human civilization. They are the most precious and strongest at heart. Thanks for sharing your story.
I absolutely love your personal input.
I am so tired of low life fathers who abandoned his kids and ALWAYS come back at the end begging them to love and take him in. I am so sick and tired of hmong men like this. I hope that once this older generation is gone, that our newer generation of fathers will be better men and fathers. Why don't these men ever learned? There are so many countless of stories and examples just like this by others and yet these old men continue to do the same.
Story of my life. My siblings and I have cut our loser dad out of our lives now even though he kept trying to call us to help him with random stuff.
ua tau zoo kawg 👍👍👍👍👍
A man biggest mistake is to abandon his first wife and daughters and marry another woman. God only blessed the first wife…a good father should be very proud of all his daughters if his wife gave him no son. A father who has many daughters should be very happy because he is surrounded by beautiful ladies. Daughters nowadays love parents more than sons…proud of this strong Hmong woman😩🤠!
If his wife give him no son…???
Sound like you haven’t been educated. Women has no ability to make genders, her eggs are neutral.
Faith wise, it’s whatever God give you. But scientific wise, men’s sperms are the seed. Whichever gender he plants, that’s what the women nurture and grow it into that gender.
@@ThePrincessWorrior I’m fully educated man. I love my daughters and sons equally. I’m appreciate my wife for everything she did for me and my kids. I help her do chores from washing dishes to laundry and do my man’s work around the house. I know that this old man with little or no education treated his son badly. A good father shouldn’t never do that to his kids…😩🤠
Sister, I love your message to your mom at the end of your story. ❤
Hais txog txiv neej hmoob lim hiam tsis hlub cov ntxhais mas tusiab heev li.. yog tsis hlub ntxhais vauv ces thaum tau ntxhais vauv tsis zoo tsis txim txiaj ces yuav ntxub2 xav kom tuag tabsis yog ntxhais vauv lubneej ho zoo ces kuj txhob tos ntsov nyuj thiab txhob khaiv ntxhais vauv, txhob ciasiab rau ntxhais vauv kiag xwb
Children do better in a loving home. It's not true that your situation made you better. No one deserves to be treated this way.
Thank you for sharing your story. You are strong. I have 5 girls and my husband and I love each one unconditionally. My husband is a daddy’s girl. We have 3 adult children and my husband is the proudest father.
I hate when elders say that the reason we (sons or daughters) are successful is because they have us tough love or gave us the cold shoulder. They always want the spotlight even though they mistreat us in every way possible. They tell us our whole lives that we will amount to nothing, but in the end, when we are successful, they jump right in there and try to take all the credit. So disgusting

My opinion yes!! Like your dad say !! If he didn’t say that or doing that to you guy , you guy will not succeed , but what your dad did is a little over board when you ask your dad to hold your hand at your wedding he should not refuse , he should do it .
The lady in Laos, May mentioned at the end of the story, I tried to report the video but Facebook said that it didn't go against their community standards. I was livid! I thought about contacting the person who owned the video on Facebook but thought better of it because I know Hmong nplog won't change the way they treat women. Hmong women organizations need to reach out to these hmoob nplog and maybe that'll help.
Jmuag txiv dev siab phem li ntawv na txhob hlub kiag li lawm nawb niaj hnub no txhob quav je nws li o cias nws tuag nws mus
Cas hnub nov, tu tu siab heev lis ehh.. 😥

My father does the same to my mom and our siblings too. We have 5 sister and 2 brother.
My husband really want to have a baby girl but we have 2 boys. He still need and wait for baby girls.
