And some people are saying you need your character to sleep as well for the ‘asleep’ emotion
That is true, I usually have the Sim sleep until everything wears off. So prior to starting my recording I believe I did have the Asleep emote. And think you for this list, it will help people greatly!
Gamer Jester thanks for your video but i started a new household and didn’t have time to do the paintings, may take many attempts
So i have to wait until some of the emotions have finished before i start another one? I know some of them go straight to the ‘front of the queue’ but others go to the back and i have to wait for the 1st one to finish.

All i needed was sad tense and inspired);
RYRYDOESGAMES etc. Sad was actually the hardest one for me. I found it near impossible to get my guy Sad, and had to switch to the emotional female to get it. But then the paintings after she went sad helped so much.
You just need low social to become Sad. Shower to get inspired. And low fun to get Tense.
Right I’m loosing my mind over this now! I’ve made a check list of all the emotions so I know I’m not missing any. I used the hats and the paints also to make it easier and I’ve done this 5 times now making sure all the emotions were over powering. And I’m not getting the trophy?!😩
Are you making sure you lose the emotes too? Do not do one that will give a very long time to get rid of, because it only counts if you lose it during the time. And make sure you get Fine. Let me know how it goes if you try again, keep me updated. I'll work with you to get this.

Wait, so referencing 11:05, does it not matter if another emotion is overpowering? Cause from the looks of it, Tense was never your primary emotion and it seems the trophy still popped.
Hmm I never actually noticed that. It definitely does have to be the over powered emotion however. I had 3 attempts before this one where I figured that out. It is possible either I got a lucky glitch. Or possibly where she lost the one emotion, became tense, and then became angry all in a spit second, and that still counted. In case it was a glitch, if you attempt this, I would have your sim stand alone in a room to ensure "Tense" pop appear. Better safe than sorry thats for sure. But thank you for noting this.

That is wild, don't you hate when that happens? It's crazy you got it without even going for it!
Have you tried the paintings? And if you still struggle, if you have the Vampire DLC (it's always on sale on PSN Store so wait for a sale if you don't have it.) The vampire emotion control makes it much easier.
just want people to know if you have the vampire dlc this trophy a walk in the park with a max out vampire as they can influence emotions

This trophy is impossible... No matter what i do i can't get inspired... I've tried everything . :‘(
That is strange, inspired was always the one I had most trouble getting rid of in my first couple attempts. :P The best way to get this is to make a separate room and decorate it with a lot of expensive stuff that has high environment. Or if you use high level paintings, make sure the mood aura is turned off. This should make inspired your dominate emotion.
Angrod , Thanks for replying. I got the trophy. It's glitched if you have all the dlc. I deleted all the dlc, started a new game with a new character and got the trophy in about 20 minutes. I used the "thoughtful shower" interaction to get inspired after getting focused playing chess. I found that all you need to get the trophy is a chess board, a coffee maker, a TV and 2 extra sims to argue with and flirt with. Giving your main sim the gloomy trait makes emotional changes easy and quick. :)
Huh, I'll have to keep that in mind in case anyone else has this problem. Sim's games are very well known for their glitches though, at least you managed to find a way to fix. Congrats! But yeah, you're right. It's not all too hard. The paintings really take the stress off too. I first tried with my male character and I found it near impossible to make him sad or tense. My females traits were more based on emotion, which worked so much better with her.

So do they need to disappear before time runs out picking five as last for example? Because i have done ANYTHING. All emotions, i managed to rid it, i tried your way, with vampire emotional control support and it just doesnt pop for me!
Oh man this video was so long ago I need to try and remember. I know I had so many issues with this because Sims 4 was unstable with the trophies popping. I had to make a whole new family, and even doing it with my guy it didn't pop and I had to redo it again with the girl. The only really advice I have on it, try switching different characters and keep close track. I do think in the beginning I was missing 1 or 2 that I didnt realize.
Sorry its not much help. But its all I remember. Also I remember a few people I helped didnt start out fine thinking it counted already. So make sure you're fine before anything. That's your starting point.

Sorry, I am not sure how. These are the PS4 defaults.
His UI is smaller because his display settings are off. It's actually supposed to fit around the screen. U change the settings by going to settings on the ps4 then go to sound and screen then go to display area settings.
So does the mood have to changed to say tense for eg or just get a tense moodlet?
It needs to change so in the bottom left it actually says "Tense." Or else it doesn't count, which makes it slightly more complicated.

How do you get those paintings?
Buy an easel from the shop, then have your sim paint random paintings until you get their skill up. The higher the better, but I'd get at least to level 5. Then have your sim experience each mood you want. Such as have them grow angry by getting into a fight. Then after wards when you go to the easel to paint, you will be able to paint an "Angry Painting." And you can do that for each of the moods I shown in the video.
Where can I find the pictures?
You need to have a sim with painting skill of at least 6, but higher will help. Then after their painting skill is at 6, get that Sim in the mood desired for the painting. For example to paint an Angry painting, make your Sim angry first by getting into a fight. Then once they are Angry go and paint, and you will see an option to "Paint an Angry picture."

No problem at all. And yes, for this trophy they did count Fine. It would be easiest to start out with Fine first, as sometimes it becomes tricky to lose the emotions towards the end with enough time.
how do you buy books
Click on a book shelf you own and it will give you options to "Read" "Read something" "Purchase book" Just click Purchase book.
Do you have to be tensed first
No, not first. To start out it would be best to start at Fine state. And then gain tense along with all the others. Make sure to lose them as well and end in the Fine state again.

Do you have the paintings? If you really struggle too you can also get the Vampire DLC, that is supposed to make emotions a lot easier, but I have never tried it. There are also the potions you can make.
