Students here cannot take up part-time jobs because the pay is not based on hourly rates. They are offered a salary of ₹7,000, but they are expected to work day and night. The competition is very tough, and even part-time jobs here are equivalent to full-time work.
I am currently working in the private sector, where I am required to spend more than 10 hours a day on the computer. After such long hours, it becomes very challenging to study, as it impacts both eye health and mental well-being. Moreover, the company does not provide any health insurance or additional benefits.
In contrast, the US offers a better salary structure and overall work-life balance. Richer countries often provide better opportunities and facilities, and the vast population in India is another significant factor that contributes to the challenges we face.
