I watched this whilst scrolling through some sites so forgive me asking... essentially, this would be a good "enthusiast" station? As far as I can see I only lose UV and lightning readings? I'm thinking of treating myself for my birthday and can't afford the Wittboy or Tempest!!
No, not with this unit but the console can display UV and Lux values from a wittboy or other station which has these sensors. Thanks for getting in touch.
I contacted ecowitt and asked them if this display (model WS3800_C Wi-Fi Con) Can show data all the time without sleep and connect to Wi-Fi and upload data only using the battery without an AC adapter? They replayed: Hi dear, Only with an AC adapter, it can show data all the time and connect to Wi-Fi, and upload data. When only using the battery, it can't connect to Wi-Fi.
@@mr_mysterious_6174 Hi , this console can display Sorlar/UV data ,it depends on which sensor or sensor array connect to. The WS85 has no these functions, so they won't be displayed on console.

Can you make another one how to connect the WS3900 to WIFI as some customers are getting stupidly crazy with their console refusing to connect to WIFI
