I agree and reading the comments on all the videos about how harsh the commentators are is do ridiculous. That's their job. If everyone behaves so ultra ridiculous now in the world it's very worrying that all comments must only be complimentary and not for any improvement is absolutely ridiculous ppl complaining about the commentators.
This is a complete degradation of this type of figure skating. In 2016, the results of medalists in pairs were 168.66; 166.13 and 152.77 points. In 2020, medalists had 199.21; 175.42 and 157.29 points.
This is literal juniors. Can you chill? Also at the start of the short program live, the one commentator said the age limits changed for this comp for the youth Olympics, so a lot of the top pairs couldn't skate because of age. But they have done amazingly well for such a big stage at such a young age.
Three of the four pairs are making their international competition debuts, with the remaining pair also competing in their second international competition.
