Oh wow love the new bike Alexis u r living my dream. I’m a 56 yr old woman I just bough a grom I love it. I really love watching u guys ride. Can’t wait to see u ride it on the trails
Wow that’s a clean bike! Wish I could find one. Everything around me is a clapped out 20 year old bike for $3500 and up. For that price I may as well spend the extra 2K and get a 2020.
My friends and I for years have always used a 4x4 block of wood cut to fit between the front tire and bottom of the fender it worked really well to help save the fork seals while on the trailer
first! kx100 is honestly the best branch between 80/85 and 125. I have a 2003 kx125 but I kinda wish I had a smaller 2 stroke like the kx100. Happy rippin
I think you’re going to love that bike on the trails. This bike ain’t going to beat you up. Trust tanner on this one. From one dirt bike rider to another I knew tanner was going to line you up. Well done tanner, you did your girl right
@@hunternoble2997 I guess and by the looks of it where he is there isn’t many wide open roads to open the throttle so you don’t really need that top end speed it pretty much has all the stuff you need to do for trail any just may need a flywheel weight
If you’re ever down south I have to try out the kx100 with the auto Clutch she can try out my built rm85 bored and stroked to a 112 with a full Hinson set up and a shit ton of other mods
I have the new tech 3's and I love the hinge design. I tried on every pair and those were the most comfortable by far. Even better now that they are broken in.
Congrats Lex on the new whip! Look at you two rippin some modern machines!!! Make Tanner bring them to FL for some fun!! Down shift!! It may be green but it aint a Deere! tractored up that hill hahaha
She’s going to need to learn how to keep it in the power band on those hill climbs, on those KX 100s it will have no power if you’re not in the power band. That bike is sick!!!!!!
For her size that's perhaps the best bike for her that's a 2 stroke. My girl rides 2012 Kx100 that's re-geared with V force reeds with a fatty pipe...no flywheel weight...has power everywhere and she's climbing steep mountain trails in Colorado. She loves it more than any other bike she's ridden and has never complained about lack of power...anywhere...since the mods
Chris H Yeah I have an 2018 kx100 almost stock and it lacks bottom end power that’s how it is on 2stroke race bikes, but I’m sure with those mods it helps a lot down low
A 2 stroke is really where you learn to drive . 4 is good for the open trails but two is for technical. But I'm sure you will jump back and forth again lol
My kx65 had a rekluse clutch, and the reason why I didn’t like it is cause I do motocross, and I feel like that would ruin my experience when I’m going threw ruts, turns, corners, etc. Cause In a normal clutch, it takes a lot of clutch when going threw those kind of stuff. But in rekluse, it’s pure fun and no experience whatsoever. I’m kinda a competitive person, so there is those times we’re I sometimes don’t ride for fun haha. But anyways, there’s always a pros and cons to something so yeah great bike man congrats, rekluse clutches are good though!
Man that is one clean bike dam it she going to have fun on that and with that clutch going to go any where on slow creep to nice bike he’ll yeah nice boots to bro one of the best boots out
You should check out (if you haven’t already) the Fox Comp-5 Off-Road Boots.... Mine have lasted the last 3yrs with no rips/tears or breaks......plus, they have actual Treads on the bottom like Hiking Boots 👍🏻 Having Tread is a world of difference when you’re off your bike on the side of a hill trying to strong arm your bike back up 🤣
Missed out on a 10 yr old yz with under 10 hrs on it this last week. I was pissed when I didn’t jump on it and it sold within a day. I figured it was rural and it wouldn’t move. I was wrong.
Ahh!! Diesel is at the front of the video. Is this going to be a 2 stroke channel now? OH Diesel is there behind Alexis on the KX100. It does look to be in excellent condition. Yeah Diesel again. Those boots look like they will give a lot of protection.
You might have to get an extended shifter to get that bigass boot in to shift. If those don’t work try the fox instincts I can only speak on them cuz that’s what I have. I have the 180 as well but they aren’t as good as the instinct.
He was selling tech 12’s???? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ you said he down graded and went to tech 7 and had 10’s and 12’s for sale? Was that size of the boot? Or were they Garne sg10 and sg12s?
I’d stick more along the 32:1 or 40:1 ratios 50:1 is super lean for a bike. Factories said 32:1 back in the day. Remember there’s never been a failed engine from too much oil..just not enough!
hey -great vids , but i had a mz 250 cc , they also recommended 2 % mix , after 500 km. i went for 1% oil . it went faster and les smoke - but mz were copyed by many companyes
I have a big tank and tall seat for a kx if you know someone that needs it. I'm not big on the auto clutch for small bore bikes. I tried a kx100 with a FW weight. I HATED it. Made the bike feel like it took forever to wind up
we are both 6'4 what size feet are you ? tryna get an idea what size boots i need if we are the same ... 13 but because my feet are wide i have to wear a size 15 sneaker , i havent worn boots in like 5 years i think i was a 14 in boots
I grew up before all this technology evolved. I used a clutch on my kx80 and my 125 and 250. Never once did I think I needed an automatic clutch. But to each their own I guess. Kinda takes the fun out of it I think tho.
at least give her a fighting chance and help her dial in the sag and preload and get the bike sitting a tad lower so she wont go all the way down when she washes out the front end!! give her a fighting chance tanner!! help her set up her suspension brother! -p3t3r
My daughter Britney has a 09 kx100, it totally NEEDS THE HEAVIEST FLYWHEEL WEIGHT money can buy. I'd even like to get a custom made 15oz flywheel weight.
Thinkin rekluse for the kx100 now. I'd rather see jess on a 2 stroke. I hope alexis does awesome on the new kx100, I'm super anti 4 stroke. I hate 4 stroke race bikes mostly because of the big cost of fixing them when the engines fail and the stupid sound they make. Lol... 4 strokes suck n 2 strokes truck....
Man I wish I could even find a kx 100 used on the fb market place edit since she said the clutch is hard to pull you can get levers on amazon that helps that and my friend like his on his crf250r
That sound that scares her is the 2T P😎WER before the engine goes before high rpm. Thanxs for keeping 2 T Alive. KX 100 is AWES😎ME.

But recluse clutch will rip up the trails
Ipad Ipad He said they had changed the sprockets, so that will allow the bike to be better in the low end.

Crystal ball tells me..... Tanner will be getting a Rekluse for the KTM. That Kawi is CLEAN! Have fun with it!
Absolute BEST boots I ever worn are 2 pairs of ALPINESTAR TECH 8. 1 pair I got in 98 and they are still like new
Things brand new !!!!! That carb !! 👌🏻- the oversized tank
Congrats, that's awesome!
Don't forget, if you change oil fuel ratio you SHOULD rejet carb.....less oil in fuel meeans more fuel/air ratio.

Do y’all have any plans to come to Georgia
Rubicon Garage I’m in Georgia if u want to link up and ride add me on Facebook my username is khaleel Muhammad and my profile pic is a kx85
Rubicon Garage do u know what a powerband is and can u explain what it is
Enxy_Biz basically it is when the power really kicks in, all bikes have them but 2 strokes are just more defined.
Enxy_Biz it the rpm range at which the bike is making the most power
Killer deal on those boots. They should last you for many years.
I have SG-10's, they are amazing.
Sweet bike to pick up! Cool to see you and the lady having a good time dude!! Subbed
That bike is SICK! Congratulations 👍🙂

Amsoil Dominator is recommended at 50:1, different oils require different ratios.
