What do you guys think about SWB this year?
I almost deleted every build with all the unnecessary points on. Never knew I honestly don’t need it. I just make sure my speed is 80 or better.
2K is really a mess - we need to make tests on our own and search hours on how simple attributes are working or not - so swb to me as many other attributes feel weird to me 🤨🤣 - as a rec player and main ball handler it seems to make a difference - but honestly not extrem big as it seems.
Swb definitely matters if you're a ball handler running up court, if you have low swb and not doing crossovers up the court, you'll look very slow. Acceleration definitely works to if you do a speed boost dribble move, i have a 6'7 DMenace with 77 Acceleration and 34 BH and if i do a speed boost dribble move, he moves very fast, i also a 6'9 center with 27 swb and 62 Acceleration and he moves extensively slow after doing a speed boost dribble move.
Its also matters much more if you can do the left stick cancel or L2 cancel, if you can do these dribble cheeses you can get away with it, if not, make swb with Acceleration builds... My comment is specifically about 5v5, i don't play park.

@@AvatarTrev6 You can cook of you can dribble cheese and use screens, but if you have a lock on you with 94 perimeter and 96 or 99 steal, its gonna be tough.
The game is designed so badly that none of the attributes really matter, you only need em to unlock animations 🤦♂️

SWB largest impact is when it comes to getting a certain dribble style honestly. Either you’re going 40, 75, 83 or 90. There are a few in between points, but these are the Big 4.

If you play 5s then speed with ball is VERY important. You’re not always speed boosting. If you’re playing 1s and 2s then it’s not as important. A bit more important for 3s.

I agree - I have not made a big test yet - but on full court low swb seems a bit slower actually. Tho I ask myself it will make a huge difference or not - but I think as the pg a low swb can bring you in stress situations
@@kings1n defeinitely makes a difference on big builds as well. I have a big with a 40 SWB and faster attributes, he seems slower than my other big that has a 62 SWB and less speed attributes. That is with grabbing rebound and pushing up court.
nah i made a 55 speed w ball build and honestly if u know how to get open you’re good
My guard has a 40 or 60 swb i dont remember but i avg 27 ppg in rec and 24 in pro am ive never noticed a difference besides running fastbreaks
Imo it should be a way bigger difference because 25 has no speed booster and people with 83 or 75 do have it and it’s still barely a difference.
Nah I have a 6’6 with 83 and 86 looks and feels so much faster. Remember Blow by, Speed Booster, and hyper drive affect this too.
Those are badges that's a different conversion he's just talking the stat itself
You only need at least 85 ball handle, be a guard to get pro dribble style off rip and spam the john wall crossover and you won't notice the difference between 25 and 75 speed with ball
made my build with a 53 swb and a 66 accel and still move just as fast on my 6'7

If you are playing 5s and not a master dribbler I feel like it's really annoying to go low. I went 60 for the minimum to still get 85 bh on my hash lock SG and I hate it at 30/40. I'm sometimes called on for 2BH and I'm not good enough to stick to moves where you can't notice it. But if you're a dribble god I don't think it matters. Going to prioritize upgrading it to 60 and see how it feels
Tutes can you test 55 (minimum on 85BH) Compared to 75 (SB Silver) and 83 (SB Gold)
Nah yall always miss so many variables when you make these. For instance,
(1.) The dribble styles, do a comparison with a high rating dribble style vs a lower one while comparing.
(2.) The reference of being chased by an opponent. If he's 75 speed and your 99 swb, or if your a 80 does it make you faster or does it make him slower? Your ratings don't only affect you but also your opponents. If you played enough online, you know there are points when the game holds your movements back and doesn't let you make the play.
Has anyone in the comments actually played with different swb? Noticeable difference between 70s to 80s to 90s. Seems to matter in actual practice
What makes you think it is only that glitchy left right that uses speed with ball? Why wouldn’t it apply to all dribble moves once your player is in motion and has taken two steps?
I noticed that there seems to be a difference in shooting, when the speed with ball is higher, whenever i play mygm.
And if you ever do a Steph Curry template build, the speed with ball is around 97, if. i am not mistaken.
Have you done any research to find out if speed with ball affects shooting?

I made a player with 93 ball handling and 63 speed with ball to test out your theory and it is so hard to get open, feel like im walking in water. Mofos wont even give me the ball to bring it up the court once they see how slow i am. I might make an off ball player with no speed with ball, but if u wanna be able to create consistently then no speed with ball aint it.

Yup. You just need 75 unless you are a shooting guard because for some reason shooting guards get pro dribble style automatically unlocked.

@@ironsharpensiron3215 think of it like swb is the offense that counters speed on defense so if your swb is lower than h their speed your chances of getting stopped is higher as well

My newer build at SG has a 55 SWB and I cook in the Rec
Sure? I can literally see especially on rec when some gamers run with lower swb (lockd for example) - and on full court if you are main ball handler its seems to make a difference.

@@kings1nit’s a 66. I got a 85 steal. 96 driving dunk and 92 3 ball. I put the strength up cause of course perimeter defense is also broken.

That's because you're not investing in complimentary stats such as post control for unpluckable

For big guards go no speed with ball and 66-67 acceleration, you can make demigods, these attributes don’t matter if you just John wall across after you beat your defender

i just go with 83 swb i get all the badges i want accel is the same i go wot 73-76 i am the same speed as my otha guard build with 90 accel and 90 swb🤷🏾♂️ both have same speed at 90
I knew that attribute don’t matter when I made a center with 70 defensive rebounds and I still get rebounds over someone with 99 offensive rebounds.
3:25 mike says accel is used "for first few steps from dead stand" except tutes's video shows polar opposite.
Shows mike has no fuckin clue what is happening in the game, realtime, only what should be happening.

I played my team the other day and started muggsy bogues cos i felt lile having a laugh. And it was like he was glitched he was the slowest on my team should of been one of the fastest

Speed is usually tied to off ball movement
Y’all said the same thing about acceleration and honestly it helps lmao
I think the niche to this SWB attribute is that if your player is able to combo up quickly and change directions simultaneously, SWB will make that player sustain SPEED while stamina goes down until point of red baring (fatigue) then you have to wait for bar to fill back up after using most or all of your turbo (R2) for SWB to maximize again in same possession… But of course the HIGHER the BETTER if you are a good iso-dribbler/playmaker ! But 75 SWB should still be efficient enough if you’re an off-ball guard (mostly) ! But bigs don’t necessarily need it unless you are a decent “Big Driver” ! If that makes sense !!
