Id just like to thank you for creating videos on the E60, I’m slowly rebuilding mine and any task I come across without a video I’m making it at this point because our library of videos to use is severely lacking.
Nice result! I really was not sure if the beige would work with black headliner and pillar’s.! But it looks nice, as if it’s an option of BMW itself. I was planning to soundproof my roof on my F11, but your video gave me more confidence removing the headliner for that. Yours is a E series, I can’t imagine that an F series would be much different. Thank you👍
Hi Umit, thanks so much for watching. Go for for it and good luck! 👍 it should be absolutely fine to do and no harder. Hopefully I can get an F10/11 at some point and do a video on it myself!
@@FuelledLife These videos are really educational. I rather watch videos like this then so called funny, staged vids. One final question; I saw that after the removal of the original roof liner, it looked as if BMW had an extra some kind of fabric sheet or foam on the roof. Did I see it wrong ore did the factory didn’t use paint on the inside of the roof?
@@FuelledLife By the way, I wouldn’t change those little bit’s an pieces, it gives the car a two tone accent. People pay extra to get that two accents!
Good how-to guide for this job... will probably need to do this to sort my sunroof out, dreaded blocked drain pipes etc. But it looks like a job half-done with those beige handles and trim panels still in place. Did you finish it with black items in the end? Would look much more OEM that way.
Yeah, it was simply a case that the seller lost them when I picked up the whole lot. The car has now moved on to a new owner so I guess it’s just a lesson learnt for the next project! Thanks for watching though, it really isn’t a bad job - just time consuming. Good luck 👍👍

Your very welcome! More to come soon, just enjoying a bit of a summer break! 👍 cheers for watching.
Such a great tutorial ! The ones I’ve seen they had to remove the windshield I was almost about to leave my tan thanks for this !
Awesome for giving it a go! It’s not as hard as it seems, just time consuming. You’re very welcome. Thanks for watching!
So clean that looks really smart
Thanks mate, really coming on now. 👍

I do this today and just now find the video...i broke some attacks and in the and the headliner goes out in that way that you show but not so easy
It’s a little tight to remove with a saloon/sedan! Thanks so much for watching, appreciate it. 👍
Hello I’m a little late. Do you disconnect the battery ? I’m the seals that says “airbags” can it make the airbag go off ?
Thanks for watching, while you don’t need to take any airbags out, it’s always good when working around them.
U absolute f**king legend thanks u so much this is exactly what I'm looking to do
Cheers Ash! Glad to have helped!
That bmw didn’t have the sunroof ?
That’s correct, no sunroof. Proper slick top!
should replace all the beige stuff on the headliner to black, the plastic bits
Thanks for the opinion. I’m also on the fence about it still so will source the final bits to complete it. Cheers for watching! 👍
how long did it take u to change it all?
About 3 hours in total. Thanks for watching!
