    • @timhanby5662
      @timhanby5662 5 лет назад +4

      Wash them in a washing machine on warm, try not to use laundry powder, instead use Landry detergent. The powder isn’t good for microfibres as it can lodge in the fibres and scratch surfaces. :)

    • @murrys5444
      @murrys5444 5 лет назад +3

      Wash microfiber with microfiber. Don't wash them with regular towels as the lint from them will get in the microfiber. For interior work not too much of an issue, but for exterior work it can scratch surfaces.
      Never use fabric softener on microfiber or regular towels. It coats them and makes them become water resistant over time.

    • @utfan26
      @utfan26 5 лет назад +2

      I wash my mircofiber towels by themselves, no other clothes or towels. And like the other comments, DO NOT use powdered detergent...i learned that the hard way!!!! Liquid detergent only and I typically just hang them out to air dry on a clothes rack.

    • @murrys5444
      @murrys5444 5 лет назад +3

      @@utfan26 They can be dried in a dryer, but on low heat setting. Microfiber is plastic after all, and high heat will melt them (same reason you don't iron them).

    Compressed air really did a job on the carpet! But if you have access to a compressor, using a “Tornador” (or a cheaper knockoff) will do an amazing job blowing out the dirt and has the side benefit of fluffing up the carpet pile, making it easier to vacuum any leftover dirt and shampoo.
    Oh, and Tornador makes a version that you can attach a vacuum hose to, so that the dust/dirt doesn’t get blown all over the place.

    • @carilynn2120
      @carilynn2120 5 лет назад +17

      I actually think that's the point..... the more it kicks up, the more you can vacuum out. If you don't kick it up, it's sometimes stuck in the fibers. Just my thought on it.

    • @elizabethchetwood1916
      @elizabethchetwood1916 5 лет назад +5

      It gets quite a bit of dirt out of the vehicle (which helps keep the shop vac running longer) and loosens up dirt ground into the carpet/fabric fibers. Not to mention helping to get out debris stuck under seats and other hard to reach areas.

    • @anangelshero0410
      @anangelshero0410 5 лет назад +6

      Thank you for the follow up. I don't doubt that there's a value in doing it, but maybe vacuuming the major debris up first then using it for the difficult spot or hard to reach areas.

    How about detailing the interior of a backhoe, excavator or a dump truck? That would be the Ultimate work trucks/equipment need love 2!

    Aw man, it was a lot more satisfying to watch the vacuuming instead of the compressed air.

    I'd love to see a video going over all the products you keep on hand, explaining what's useful and why you use that brand/version over something else. I'm not a detailer but I like to maintain my own cars and would be interested in optimizing my products and determining what's worth buying

    i commented a while back that you should try compressed air, glad to see you picking it up. seriously try the tornador its a 50 dollar attachment and really loosens up the fibers in the carpet and helps a ton

    One tip for you. I use a brush tip on my vacuum cleaner hose. That helps me go around quicker as I can lean with one hand and I brush the carpet and vacuum at the same time with one move. Also all plastics and leather won't get scuffed up anymore from plastic tip on hose.

    I think you should do some type of challenge like detailing on a low budget, work van; preferably a van that’s owned by a construction worker, or a video were you help out a college student by detailing his or her car. I’m a current college student and i know something like this would really help out a lot.

    It would be cool if you would do a small interview with the people you get the vehicles from then at the end of your videos have a full reaction from your customers. If I turned in my truck this dirty and then got it back after your hard work I would freak the hell out! Looks awesome man👊🏼

    I'm so glad I stumbled across your videos! I'm so addicted to them lol love love love cleaning my own car and family members cars, and now I know more about what products to use and that using a drill brush (which might I add didnt even think of before, but its genius) makes it even better when cleaning! I will continue to watch as long as you upload 😊😊😊
