- Op donderdag 8 september geeft de legendarische fotograaf Peter Lindbergh in het Auditorium van de Kunsthal een exclusieve Masterclass voor studenten.
Peter Lindbergh behoort tot op de dag van vandaag tot de meest invloedrijke modefotografen van de afgelopen veertig jaar. Sinds de jaren tachtig is Lindberghs pure zwart-wit fotografie beeldbepalend voor de ontwikkeling van de modefotografie.
Het spectaculaire overzicht van Lindberghs oeuvre bevat exclusief materiaal, van niet eerder getoonde beelden, persoonlijke aantekeningen, storyboards, rekwisieten, polaroidfoto's, contactafdrukken, films en monumentale afdrukken. Lindberghs pure zwart-witfoto's zijn al vanaf het begin van de jaren tachtig koersbepalend voor de modefotografie, en voor het eerst samengebracht in een omvangrijk retrospectief.
Peter Lindbergh wordt beschouwd als een van de meest invloedrijke modefotografen. 'A Different Vision on Fashion Photography' is een ode aan zijn veelzijdige oeuvre van 1978 tot nu. De multimediale tentoonstelling presenteert, met aandacht voor Lindberghs creatieve wereld en passies, negen verschillende thema’s: Supermodellen, Modeontwerpers, Zeitgeist, Dans, Doka, Het onbekende, Het witte doek, Iconen en een exclusieve Rotterdam Gallery. De Rotterdam Gallery ─ gefotografeerd voor het oktobernummer van de Nederlandse Vogue en speciaal voor de tentoonstelling gemaakt ─ toont Lindberghs shoot met Nederlands topmodel Lara Stone en opkomend talent Elisa Hupkes in de haven van Rotterdam.

He's such a great guy and one of the most important photographers of our time. For me personally, he's the most important one.

I do think he is a big inspiration for many young photographers. I personally see his work with an eye of a men that can't get enough of young women do what he wants them to do. His portrait photos look all the same, their faces tell all the same story. He did not grow in his entire working life. He still does the same work he did 20 years ago.
But why was the audience so pathetic.

He speak about photoshop same as my grandfaather Andrzej Strumiłło. I wonder did they meet once in past. Well guess i will never knew.
