My sons name is Tucker because of him. He is now 22. Tucker was very young when we raced some ice lemans races.Kirk and Corey Davidson were racing with us in pro class. Tucker would ride around the pits on an old spree. He brought us pistons for our zr440's that were eating snow dust.Kirk even came in our trailer to help with issues. Great family.
Tucker was my Childhood Idol. I am a TH68 collector. Used to race Ice oval in Quebec. Never forget standing in a snow bank next to Blair and Tucker taking a leak before their final at the Grand Prix de Valcourt 2003.
Tucker is and always will be a hero of mine. Some of my best memories of my dad were sitting and watching Kirk, Tucker, and ole Blair Morgan race on TV. I've pretty much stopped watching any races anymore cause I'm a cat guy, but still get gassed to go back and watch those old Tucker Hibbert races
Man Iv been waiting for these two to get together and talk this is going to be awesome. The absolute two best from one sport but their so different. Two totally different worlds but one ride!!!
Next podcast defines shed hunting and all the cool stuff that has come from the shed hunts! Cool to see two icons of the sport together being their humble selves. The most memorable times of this industries sport was the major crossover from the old sit down style of Vincent and Kirk Hibbert to the Morgan and Tucker style of sleds, racing and styles. Funny you mentioned Chris Vincent. He was such a rowdy animal, having been standing trackside watching that guy totally sending it with no remorse and balls out style was amazing to watch first handed in 94-97 era. The most amazing part of this is realizing Tucker was actually burnt out from snowmobiling in general, to not watch the races much and not continue riding much is a total surprise and realization that you can be the best in the world at something and literally just stop cold turkey because it’s consumed your entire life. I would have thought he would have started a team like Lavalle or something just to keep the Hibbert name in Snocross. Not too late… Love to see a podcast with Blair Morgan and Levi Lavalle and Hibbert all talking of the era together!! That would be a banger!!
2 of my favorite riders. Really enjoyed meeting tucker in Illinois 9 years ago outside of his trailer. My daughter had her Hibbert monster energy jacket autographed by him. Need to come meet chris soon. Enjoyed this podcast alot.
Had the opportunity to speak with Elias at the races in New York last weekend. Was shocked to see him walking with crutches, and in a great mood talking about next season. He even rode out on a sled during the points leader introduction at opening ceremonies. Always loved watching Tucker race, even though I'm a Polaris guy. His dedication and dominance was impressive to say the least. He has had a huge influence on the sport and other riders. Nothing but positive things to say about him.
Literally the best Podcast I have seen or listened too, man for them memories of watching the races on TV to in person. My wife was pregnant with our son, my brother and i went to the races in Glyndon in 2015 in December, colder than a well diggers a$$, on our way home i text her and said we are naming our kid after this Legend in the greatest industry on earth and we did just that. It was great hearing from him. I catch myself wondering more about what he's up to these days. If there was one day i got to spend with one person just visiting and hanging out, it would be T-Train, so humble and down to earth, super cool guy. Hope to see another pod from you two together next winter. Thank You for this Chris!
I’m glad that you guys touched on his dominance in the X games, causing them to remove snow cross from that back when he was dominating it was like he was Tiger Woods of the snowmobile industry people started to hate on Tiger Woods because he was so dominant and I found that so moronic For people to think that I enjoyed every minute of Tucker and Tigers dominance to their sports! Theses guys are just humans that take the training and preparation to the next level It’s up to the competition to bring their game My favorite podcast to date Chris Thanks and keep it up!
I actually have a Tucker Hibbert poster autographed by him back when he was riding a Rm 125. The sx lites class. It was cool to see him back in the dirtbike days.
I used to go to my uncles house just to watch them race snowmachines! Everytime we had seen Tucker in the race we wouldnt make any bets we all ready knew who was gone win.
Im 45 little older than tucker been a fan since the beginning. Was also a fan of his father both great racers. Im also a retired racer i was very good but not as great as tucker of course. I raced SX was good won many championships in sport classes and pro vet classes. I started racing when i was 25 on cats during my 15 year racing career. Started pro XC with USCC east around 30 maybe hard to remember. Won my pro stock and open championships with USCC east XC racing in 2014. Had to retire from my racing in 2017 was my last season. Unfortunately arthritis and severe carpal tunnel in both hands was the end for me. Still miss it almost every day greatest times of my life. When i was SX racing was at the nationals in farminting NY upstate NY im a upstate NY native. The first time i meant tucker i was a little star struck didn’t talk much. The second time was at nationals against in the morning before the races started. Tucker gave all the racers a little motivation talk some advice a speech about racing so motivational down to earth was amazing. After he was done speaking to group of racers my father and i went to tucker while everyone else was leaving to get ready to race. I swear tucker talked to us like we grew up together just the nicest most wonderful well spoken person Ive probably ever met. Made us feel like gold suck a gentleman ill never forget always appreciate the time he gave us. Hate to say it but after tucker retired SX was never the same for me. I can totally relate to tucker saying how he was luck to have so many motivated people around him how lucky he was. I was a one man racing team ya my father helped me financially my wife supported my racing but all preparations was me myself and i. Had to do all my own mechanic work self motivate myself. Pack all my gear load trailer or pickup depending on the race of course. It was very hard juggling racing with my every day life style. Sometimes very frustrating that i had no help it was very exhausting at times but i did love it. After tucker retired Never really found another racer i loved to root for like tucker. Anyway great video watching tucker and Chris together. Thanks guys.
Not sure if I just missed it but the most important question to ask any former racer would be what they did immediately after retiring, what they do now, and what they will be doing in the future.
Forever you would be under a ton of poW not knowing this dude. For the record anytime someone asks who you want to meet or heros etc etc. it's always Chris Burandt ,and Josh Herrin🍻🌮🍔🥓🤘
@urandt I understand it was about tucker, but it sure seemed like you didn't dare to even say "Cat", even referring to those days as "time period". That's all. Is it true that Don made you fly back for a meeting, instead of celebrating winning gold?
I Love Tucker Hibbert love it have the number 3 sled in year 2015 ZR 6000Replic. T. H sled and I absoooolutely love it!!! And low Kms great sled just missing the racing plate because Arctic Cat never sent it to me. Wish I had it.

Such a great conversation from two of the best OGs from my generation. Thank you for all the inspiration!

What a great sit down conversation, brought back so many memories watching Tucker his dad, and yourself back in the day
First thing that came to mind when I seen Tucker was him and Blair battling it out all season.
Thanks for that chat... great to hear from Tucker

Best pod cast I think so far. Two of the best sledders in my generation hands down on the same hill an the table. Ty

Tucker is the GOAT
Some of the best snow cross racing was him in Blare with that said Hibbert did an amazing job through his career what a outstanding athlete.
The Goat!
When I was in college in Detroit lakes MN we got to tour his race trailer, it was awesome.
That was fantastic!
Just saying you guys are awesome and I’ve always thought it would be cool to see more of this
That missing X-Games Sled is in Elk River,MN! 😉

Thanks guys.
He’s definitely got the bug for mountain riding now 😂. Legends
I hope with Tucker coming on the carbide pod and now with you, that he may be possibly stepping back into the industry a little.
Should do one of these with Dan Adams.
Not sure if I just missed it but the most important question to ask any former racer would be what they did immediately after retiring, what they do now, and what they will be doing in the future.
Awesome
Legend
2 of thee Best!
The nostalgia is in the air !!! Did he ride a polaris ?? Lol
You two make a run for the white house
Tucker was the “Haden Deegan” of snow cross 20 years ago. It was a pleasure to watch him dominate.
That’s was good
Fun Fact. Tucker had beat Ryan Dungey in some D23 motocross races...
Did they ride cat or polaris?

858🤙
Arctic cat
I did mean on this trip. Not sure if that was clear. I know he was a career arctic cat guy, BBA is a Polaris outfitter
More then likely rode a Polaris
Come over to water.
It sucks that you couldn't talk more about the days you worked at Arctic Cat, seemed like you where afraid to even say the word "cat"
This wasn’t about me. I’m very grateful for my days at Cat!
@urandt I understand it was about tucker, but it sure seemed like you didn't dare to even say "Cat", even referring to those days as "time period". That's all.
