      Mover closer to the mic, and/or turn up the volume. You’re too soft-spoken, literally.

    We were thinking of checking out the city of Maykop. We are retired and wouldn't mind to live out the rest of our lives in a warmer area. Krasnodar may be a little bit too big and maybe more expensive? But we don't know....

    • @ThePlasticRussian
      @ThePlasticRussian  Месяц назад +2

      Yes, Krasnodar is the capital city of the region Krasnodarskiy krai which covers some 76,000 sq kilometres. This goes along the Black Sea cost from just past sotchi in the south towards Kerch further north and then inland to Stavropol and north to the sea of Azov. It’s a large region by English standards!!! Anapa is a lovely coastal town!

      Maikop is not exactly the Krasnodar region, it is the Republic of Adygea. so it has its own specifics 😅 I lived in Krasnodar for about 20 years, and it is a great city, but the prices there will be the same as in Sochi I think and it's very hot in summer. Among the cities of the south you can consider Stavropol. it is not as overcrowded as Krasnodar, real estate is cheaper there, and it is very green as I remember. Goryachiy Klyuch is also a great town, it is closer to the sea, and the nature there is very beautiful. Anapa is a quiet and beautiful seaside town. I was there once and they have a sandy beach, which is rare on the Black Sea. But in Anapa there is a period of algae blooming, so you should not buy housing right by the sea 😉

      @@dennazarenkov8494 Thank you! Do you know of house builders in Maykop that speak english? Or do the house builders from Krasnodar also build houses in Maykop? I have to admit that I am blown away by the beautiful houses they build in Belgorod. Just beautiful.

      @@user-vw4zp2ej2l Sorry, I can’t recommend anyone in particular, I currently live in Moscow. but I'm sure English won't be a problem with most builders. but you should visit Russia before deciding to move and consider other issues, such as transferring funds from abroad (not so easy today), residence permit, etc. never rush, visit as tourists first 😉
