I own the F5 Pro and I have a friend with an F5. After extensive testing we found very little difference between both devices in terms of camera quality. Most of the differences were due to image processing differences between the two devices (I assume Xiaomi didn't include some of their image processing software on the regular F5) and AI features such as 8K video. There are frame rate improvements with the F5 Pro and videos seem more stable so perhaps there are slight improvements to the sensor or image stabilisation if that is a feature on these devices. Selfie quality leaves a lot to be desired on both devices. GCam quality is basically identical on both devices. Only the stock camera app shows differences. However the stock camera app takes better photos and videos with most situations than GCam

I've seen a video showing comparisons of pictures with gcam and stock camera and most wins were given to the Gcam... There may have been some updates, tho.

The image quality is clearer and more dynamic but I wouldn't call it more natural. There are likely sensor or software improvements that come with the F5 Pro which makes it better at handling textures than the regular F5
