It's astonishing to think that Robin Jackman had to wait until he was 35 to earn a test cap for England. Forget his almost comically long, but short stepped, run up and the theatrical and loud appealing and concentrate on his bowling action. This was classically sideways on and wicket to wicket. He was a very fine fast medium seam bowler who nibbled the ball around on a good length and could let go an occasional and accurate bouncer to surprise the batsman. His chance at test level should have come sooner.
I notice that at the start of this upload, there's an advert for an International Double Wicket Competition, which must have been on that vhs before being recorded over. Which competition exactly was this please, and do you have any details about it?
There was a double wicket competition around this time and the final was between Clive Lloyd and Ian Botham. You would have thought that Botham would have won but Lloyd won it quite easily because Botham kept on getting out!
Another Brilliant Upload Keep It Up
DM sir you are an absolute legend. I have been dying to see this cricket. Thank you.
Jim Great Style Laker😆

Reminds me of a certain Ozzie surprise package from a couple of years ago (also over 30)😏
Bob Taylor was born 1941 he had to wait a long time for an England career due to packer, then we all saw what a brilliant gloveman he was

The interference on here is rubbish. Who did this? Couldn't have been a good recorder whoever did it. Spoils it
