Just a little correction, it’s a modern version of a Hungarian folk song, and Hungary was never the part of Balkan. Northern parts of Croatia used to belong to Hungary, but not any more south.
Thank you ! No problem, we are Central Europe having influenced the Balkans and being influenced by. These tunes are ancient pentatonic ones, and the whole region, including all or most part of the Balkans, was ruled by Scythians, Huns, Avars, Bolgars, Tatars, Cumans, Mongols, Alans, Pechenegs, Gepids, Romans, Greeks, Macedonians, Persians, SeldjukTurks--some of them in close linguistic relation with each other and with the Hungarians, but left a lasting imprint also on today's South Slavs, Albanians, Vlachs/Rumanians and Greeks. The official rulers like Byzantium, Kingdom of Hungary, the Ottomans, the crusaders, and most recently Russia/SU, left also an imprint, but less deep, depending on the people and period of rule, but folk music wasn't born or modified during the Soviet conquest period! The text is marvellous, check it you will like it ! The other comment wanted to say that we are not so anarchic, undisciplined and backward as the Balkans is usually perceived. That is attributed to Ottoman rule, but the Ottomans were tolerant and left everyone do what they could do.
Szeretni nem tudtam, de most már jól tudom, búsulni nem tudtam, úgyis megtanulok . . . ....... Mert akit szerettem, mást szeret, nem engem . . . Még mindig sajog, de egyszer majd lemúlik . . . Talán ha majd értem jön a Kaszás . . .
Gyönyörű dallam és hang ! Mifelénk más a dallama, ugyan ennek a dalszövegnek, talán igy még szebb, népiesebb !!! Köszönőm !
A fiatalkori reménytelen szerelmemre emlékeztet ez a dal..💔❤️🩹

Az ifj. Csoóri Sándor hangja csoldálatos, egyedi és gyönyörű.

Hungarian folk music is very distinct from Balcanic music. I love both!
