- After 13 months on the road, we finally reach our destination: Kathmandu!
After a smooth border crossing, the first days in Nepal proved to be a real ordeal....
We had been warned that the roads would be in terrible condition, but we were totally unprepared for what was in store for us!
But luckily both Boris and we survived the challenge and 7 days after leaving India we arrived in Kathmandu!

Who are we?
We’re An and Yves, a Belgian couple who share a passion for travel en adventure.
Over the years we took a couple of gap years on different occasions and right now we're travelling the hippie trail, which started on January 1 2023!
As said this is not our first travel experience but three years ago we started sharing our stories on RUclips and Instagram. There has to be a first time for everything!
Our goal is to inspire you to follow your passion (big or small) and to see and experience the world with your own eyes.
By sharing our stories we hope we can inspire one another on their own journeys.

You made it guys! It’s still unbelievable to us, that you on the other side of the world. But at the same time the same kettle is cooking water in Nepal and Colombia. ♥️ beautiful landscape and finally some peace and silence around you. We could truly feel in the beginning that it means something special to you. 🥰 enjoy this leg of your trip. Can’t wait for a coffee together someday back somewhere in Europe and telling each other all the travel stories 🥰♥️

The roads are a real hassle for now, the whole country is going through a major road expansion, hence there may be periods where the roads are blocked to continue the construction. Hope you enjoy Nepal, I hope you are planning to travel to Pokhara and Chitwan too!

The River side in the Start of video is where I learn swimming, spend most of my childhood there. The river used to be much more beautiful before, unfortunately excess gravel & sand mining has strip it's beauty. Hope you enjoy you stay.
