Martha's Italian is quite overwhelmingly beautiful just as she is. I'm particularly struck by the way she looks straight at Lucy @ 4:27 singing La Forza Che Ci Dai (The strength You give us). No other performance was is or ever will be necessary to deepen our love of this spiritual song. Thank-you to both girls for giving us so much. Stunningly deep and beautiful. Martha is outstanding! Such a beautiful voice. Lucy is beyond compare and in a class of her own. When these two sisters harmonize their voices, they bring a bit of Heaven to this Earth.

This is a beautiful rendition and might be my 2nd favorite. But, you need to listen to Marcelito Pomoy's version of this on the Wish Bus. You will be stunned. Millions already have been. It's magical.
At your suggestion, I listened to three of Marcelito's renditions of the song, and he has a truly remarkable, perhaps unique, facility to sing well in both tenor and soprano voices. However, and in part because I think this song is best performed as a duet, Lucy and Martha's rendition remains my favourite, with their sibling harmony giving me chills every time I listen! It would be interesting, I feel, if Marcelito were to record both duet parts separately and get his record label to mix the two to achieve the harmony! As it is, I think that Marcelito's soprano voice is not as good as Lucy's voice, either technically or emotionally, although I do think that he would make her a good duet partner with his tenor voice! Everything is subjective, of course! 😊
