I believe that a black background would definitely make everything POP. Because then the green plants won't be competing with the splashes of green that's on the background.

That Rescape is a W man. That Angel fish tank was A1 too! Hey can you start posting the swap meets? Secondly would you be interested in going out and fishing for natives? I introduced my 8 yr old son to netting fish last year and man he loves it! I would like to link up with other ppl that are interested in the hobby and do things like that. I DEF have to make it to one of those swap meets up there. Illinois aint a bad drive. I'm in Louisville, Ky

I just got myself a 55, upgraded from 3 smaller tanks. So much easier to maintain and the fish seem stoked

No. Study aquascaping. Always work from the front to the back and never accentuate the middle of the tank like you did. It takes away all depth. Looks bad
I believe that you should study aquascaping. There are sooo many PROFESSIONAL aquascapers that use the middle of the tank to make mountain and volcano scapes using the middle of the tank only. My point is that this isn't a competition, but if it were, then his scape would hold its own. Because this is his vision not yours. And if you cannot be open minded enough to appreciate this, then feel free to keep your opinions to yourself please. He does alot of work to share his visions with us, and we appreciate that if nothing else. You should to.
