Hey UAENAs! This was recorded 2 days ago and IU got a Perfect All Kill now, multiple ones too! Congrats IU! I hope no one misunderstand what I said at the start, I just got annoyed what other fandoms were saying about IU on twitter and I wanted to say that we listen to IU because her songs and voice are amazing and not because she's popular ^^
I always try my best to stay away from useless fan wars... everyone is allowed to have different taste no matter how wrong they can be (i'm joking lol) but yea music taste is very subjective :)
I want to add something here (lol, sorry bcs of my many comments/reply) FYI, in case you didnt realize, the fact that IU still got Perfect All Kill in 2021 is super amazing , here is why: (1) she's female soloist, and already on 13/14 year of career. Its hard to stay relevant in kpop/ kmusic scene more than 7/8 years, especially for female acts. (2)her lyrics is deep, she always tries new genres and rarely go with trend. Usually, this is not popularity recipe, lol. (3)her competitions in chart are big/popular trending groups w/ giant fandom. (4)ppl always mention she got GP/ general Public as supporter. Yes, but actually this is not that easy too. Public is streaming song on a whim, have unpredictable taste, wont vote in award show (lol), and generally just stream music for fun, unlike dedicated fandom. And public can be easily swayed/ distracted by other big trend/ big ocassion (for example : by olympic).
I really enjoyed it so I will be doing them more often, in between music reactions. I recorded my reaction to IU ELLE Q&A today so that will be next (Tuesday) then I will do Eight for Thursday possibly ^^
When you're going to watch IU tv you know more about her personality especially the relationship with her staff they are so close IU really treasure them and vice versa some of them been with IU since her debut days when IU got more famous instead of transfering to another company she stay and her only condition is to increase the salary of her staff and most of them spend 10 years already with her she have 38+ staff not sure the total right now since they have more new comers.
Her songs are beautiful, her lyrics is poetic, her style is versatile and .Her voice is so comfortable , and most of all she is always challenging herself for new stuff and yet still keep her own taste. They are unique and artistic beautiful, attractive .Her pretty personality is so well comedy which pull people to Liston her songs. Popularly is the result not the reason.

I think when I reacted to 27 facts about IU, they mentioned how she wanted the staff to stay with her and how she treats them like family :')
