Same with anniversaries. Why do you have to know their grandparents name? A name is a way to refer to people in order to be able to pinpoint certain individuals in a group or a society. Between partners, saying "Your grandfather on your father's side" yields the same result, the name's unnecessary. There are tons of things that some people find to be emotionally very important, while others find to be extremely banal or pointless. Loving someone isn't the same as knowing someone. The simplest "trick" is to write a short poem about her. As for me, I have a slight photographic memory, so when I saw her eye color on the paper, I will probably remember it till the rest of my life (or at least for a long time).

I was allergic to it in childhood and nearly died (I was starting to have anaphylaxis), but I'm no longer allergic to it and have taken it several times in recent years. I think she should be tested, unless it was a recent allergy. It's a simple blood test.

I'm allergic as well with a similar response when I was six or seven and have never used it since. But as there are plenty of alternatives drugs we can use as an antibiotic, better safe than sorry unless she knows for certain.

I don't know the names of my husbands granparents. He always says "my grandpa" or "my grandma" and they all died before we met. So I don't see any reason to ask for their names.

Actually this happens more often then you think because when men first start dating woman they are interested in the main things about them, but after an while they just go through the motions of the relationship rather then have new feelings so their most likely to forget the things they learned at the beginning. I was allergic to it in childhood and nearly died (I was starting to have anaphylaxis), but I'm no longer allergic to it and have taken it several times in recent years. I think she should be tested, unless it was a recent allergy. It's a simple blood test.

I'm allergic as well with a similar response when I was six or seven and have never used it since. But as there are plenty of alternatives drugs we can use as an antibiotic, better safe than sorry unless she knows for certain.

It's very easy to remember birthdays though. It's normal. I even know the birthdays of people who didn't even talk to me. Remembering Birthdays is like remembering names but with numbers.
