We love Tim Shadbolt here in NZ, I imagine they keep voting him in down in Invercargill because he's a delightful doddery old fella, quite mad, but charming :)
The Concrete Concrete book name came about because he had a concrete mixer called "Karl Marx" which he towed behind the Mayoral car in a Christmas Parade here in NZ. Such a character.
On the bright side, having ruined the vans engine climbing the world's steepest street Hamish and Andy then spent the rest of their NZ trip coasting in neutral.
